The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

An interesting game for Lekdetec.nl (23-1) which hosted in Bemmel second-best Loon Lions (16-7). First ranked Lekdetec.nl managed to get a 14-point victory 69-55. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Loon Lions. Lekdetec.nl forced 24 Loon Lions turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lekdetec.nl made 7 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Loon Lions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for international power forward Loyce Bettonvil (185-93) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Lisanne de-Jonge (180-95, college: St.Joseph's) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Lekdetec.nl's coach Thijs Sloot used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International guard Tanya Broering (178-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for Loon Lions. Lekdetec.nl have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-1 record. Defending champion Loon Lions dropped to the third place with seven games lost. Lekdetec.nl are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Amazone (#8) in Utrecht in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Loon Lions will play at home against Binnenland (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Amazone is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 24th consecutive match to fifth ranked Den Helder (13-9) 102-59. Den Helder maintains fifth position with 13-9 record. Amazone at the other side still closes the standings. Den Helder will play against league's second-placed Grasshoppers in Katwijk in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Amazone will play at home against the league's leader Lekdetec.nl (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Rotterdam supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Grasshoppers (16-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Rotterdam (4-20). Grasshoppers smashed Rotterdam 91-62 on Saturday. The winners were led by Fleur Kuyt who scored that evening 19 points and 4 assists. Grasshoppers' coach Rick Driessen felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 6 points and 5 rebounds by Susanne Taal did not help to save the game for Rotterdam. Grasshoppers moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Rotterdam keeps the seventh position with 20 games lost. Grasshoppers will meet at home Den Helder (#5) in the next round. Rotterdam will play against Royal Eagles in Apeldoorn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 24 Royal Eagles was beaten by Binnenland on the road 68-63.
The most impressive performance of 24th round was 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by Inez van-Hulsen of Binnenland.

Binnenland - Royal Eagles 68-63

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Binnenland (14-9) beat 6th ranked Royal Eagles (6-16) in Rotterdam 68-63 on Saturday. Binnenland forced 19 Royal Eagles turnovers. The winners were led by guard Inez van-Hulsen (167-94) who scored that evening 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Lisa Van-Den-Adel (179-89) supported her with 14 points.
