This week's number one is an international center Nicolas de Jong (210-88, currently plays in France). de Jong led Chalons-Reims to a victory over the ninth-ranked Le Portel (12-13) 77-68 in the French ProA on Friday night. He was MVP of the game. de Jong scored 21 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 27 minutes on the court. Champagne Chalons-Reims Basket (9-16) is placed 14th in the ProA. He scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. van der Mars' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. van der Mars has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 16.6ppg, 12.5rpg, 2FGP: 63.7%(172-270) and FT: 70.2%. van der Mars is in the roster of the Dutch senior national team.
