There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Eredivisie. Coincidentally all hosts won their games.

Leader Groningen delivered the twenty fourth win on Thursday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Leeuwarden (7-19) 105-56. The game without a history. Groningen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Leeuwarden's 38. Groningen forced 19 Leeuwarden turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Leeuwarden's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Chase Fieler (203-92, college: FGCU) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Sean Cunningham (188-86, college: Cal-Riverside) chipped in 17 points and 7 steals. Groningen's coach Erik Braal felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Denton Koon (203-92, college: Hofstra, agency: Court Side) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Groningen have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 24-2 record. Leeuwarden lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 19 games lost. Groningen are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Weert (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leeuwarden will play against Den Bosch and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
The game in Amsterdam was also worth to mention about. 4th ranked Den Bosch (13-13) played at the court of sixth ranked Amsterdam (9-17). Amsterdam managed to secure a 7-point victory 100-93. Surinamese Sergio de-Randamie (201-84, college: Houston) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Dimeo Van-Der-Horst contributed with 26 points and 7 assists for the winners. American guard DJ Balentine (191-93, college: Evansville, agency: Three Eye Sports) replied with 26 points and 5 rebounds for Den Bosch. Den Bosch's coach Sander van der Holst rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Amsterdam maintains sixth position with 9-17 record. Den Bosch at the other side keeps the fourth place with 13 games lost. Amsterdam will play against higher ranked Leiden (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Den Bosch will play against Leeuwarden and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 26 Rotterdam was defeated by Leiden in a road game 86-72. Zwolle smashed Weert at home 98-66.
The best stats of 26th round was 24 points and 4 steals by Jonathan Lee of Leiden.

Leiden - Rotterdam 86-72

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Rotterdam (12-14) was defeated on the road by third ranked Leiden (17-9) 86-72. The game was mostly controlled by Leiden. Rotterdam was better in fourth quarter 21-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Leiden forced 22 Rotterdam turnovers. American point guard Jonathan Lee (188-90, college: Northeastern, agency: Court Side) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 4 steals. The former international Jessey Voorn (197-90, agency: Court Side) contributed with 22 points for the winners. Leiden's coach Paul Vervaeck let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Michael Kok (190-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and center Lucas Steijn (211-86, college: Idaho St.) added 18 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Rotterdam. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Leiden maintains third position with 17-9 record having seven points less than leader Groningen. Rotterdam at the other side keeps the fifth place with 14 games lost. Leiden will play against Amsterdam (#6) at home in the next round. Rotterdam will play against the league's second-placed Zwolle and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Zwolle - Weert 98-66

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Zwolle (19-7) smashed at home bottom-ranked Weert (3-23) 98-66. It looked good early as Weert took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Zwolle had a 32-15 second period charge getting the lead and Weert was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-98. Zwolle dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Weert's 30 and made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Zwolle forced 20 Weert turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Forward Olaf Schaftenaar (208-93, college: Oregon St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). American forward JT Yoho (198-93, college: Wright St., agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Zwolle players scored in double figures. Coach Herman van den Belt's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Daan Rosenmuller (193-95) replied with 15 points and swingman Akeel Eduardo (193-93) added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for Weert. Zwolle maintains second position with 19-7 record having five points less than leader Groningen. Weert lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games.
