32-year old forward Stefan Wessels (203-F-84) put on an amazing game in the last round for Den Bosch and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 27.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Leeuwarden (#7, 7-20) 96-83. Den Bosch maintains the 4th position in Dutch league. Den Bosch is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 14-13 record. In the team's last game Wessels had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Den Bosch, through which he has constantly improved. Wessels has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 8.1rpg) and averages solid 53.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Chase Fieler (203-F-92) of top-ranked Groningen. He is American forward in his second season at Groningen. In the last game Fieler recorded impressive 23 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Groningen to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Weert (#8, 3-24) 86-58. Of course Groningen still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 25-2 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Fieler is well-known at Groningen and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.0ppg (#8). He also registered 7.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Daviyon Draper (201-F-94, agency: Court Side) of Leiden (#3). Draper scored 23 points. He was a key player of Leiden, leading his team to a 73-68 win against the lower-ranked Amsterdam (#6, 9-18). Leiden needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 9 lost games. Draper has a great season in Holland. After 27 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.8ppg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Clayton Vette (202-C-88) of Zwolle - 24 points and 5 rebounds
5. Jordan Gregory (188-G-92) of Leeuwarden - 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Charles Mitchell (203-F) of Den Bosch - 22 points and 11 rebounds
7. Justin Watts (196-G/F-90) of Den Bosch - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Craig Osaikhwuwuomwan (211-C/F-90) of Leeuwarden - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Jonathan Lee (188-PG-90) of Leiden - 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Dimeo Van Der Horst (197-G/F-91) of Amsterdam - 21 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
