Alba - Szolnok 76-78

Szolnok defended their Hungarian League title. They nipped Alba on the road in Game 4 to triumph in the championship series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Alba won third quarter 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Szolnok made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (201-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. American forward Tristan Spurlock (203-91, college: Cent.Florida, agency: Stealth Sport) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points in the effort for Alba. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Kormend claim Cup title - Feb 22, 2016

Kormend captured the Hungarian Cup title. They beat Szolnoki Olaj in the Final. Trey McKinney-Jones (198-G-90, college: Miami, FL) stepped up with 20 points to lead the winners.
Szolnoki snatched a narrow 20:19 lead ten minutes into the game. Szolnok extended the margin in the second frame. They built a 36:27 halftime lead. However Kormend turned the tables in the third period. They went on a 22:8 run to spur ahead for a 49:44 lead at the final intermission. Kormend followed with a strong 19:11 run in the fourth period and raced to the victory. Perry Petty (185-PG-88, college: UTRGV) provided 19 points, while Wesley Channels (190-PG-88, college: Austin Peay St.) added 13 points in the win. David Vojvoda (196-G/F-90) responded with 18 points for Szolnoki. Stanley Burrell (191-PG-84, agency: Alti Sport) had 9 points in the loss.
