31-year old center Marton Bader (212-C-80, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) put on an amazing game in the last round for Szolnok and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
He had a double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out Kaposvari (#8, 6-9) 84-81. Szolnok maintains the 4th position in Hungarian league. They are still close to the very top. Szolnok would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 12-3 record. It's Bader's second year at Szolnok and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Bader has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 8.3rpg) and averages solid 68.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Tomislav Ivosev of Szedeak. He is Serbian in his first season at Szedeak. In the last game Ivosev recorded impressive double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Szedeak was edged by slightly lower-ranked FS Debrecen (#12, 4-12) 81-78. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Szedeak dropped in the standings to 11th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-11 record. Ivosev is a newcomer at Szedeak and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#2). He also registered 9.0 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Justin Ingram (185-PG-85) of FS Debrecen (#12). Ingram showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in the last round. He was a key player of FS Debrecen, leading his team to a 81-78 win against slightly higher-ranked Szedeak (#11, 5-11). FS Debrecen can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-12 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Ingram he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Ingram has individually a great season in Hungary. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.1ppg (best scorer) and assists with 5.5apg (6th best). He also has 2.5spg and FGP: 53.1%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Jonathan Levy (193-G-82) of Szedeak - 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Nikolas Raivio (192-G-86) of Kaposvari - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Zsolt Szabo (202-F-86) of Falco-Szova - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Laszlo Kalman (186-G-72) of Falco-Szova - 12 points, 4 rebounds and 13 assists
8. Michael Fey (213-F/C-83) of Kaposvari - 19 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Chad Timberlake (194-G-84) of Falco-Szova - 18 points and 4 rebounds
10. Kasib Powell (201-F-81) of Kormend - 11 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
