After Gyor reached their hisctorical win against Sopron and beat the title holder first time in the season in Hungary they travelled back to Sopron. MKB started the game better, Fegyverneky and Horti scored the points while Gyor just tried to find the way. The visitor team started to focus for the defense and the home team started to make mistakes against the agressive defense. DKSK Miskolc tabbed 22-year old former international small forward Reka Balint (182-SF-91). She played almost the whole career for Atomeromu. Last season in 28 games she was fourth best scorer with 14.4ppg and recorded 3.9rpg, 2.2apg and 1.5spg. She can count that year as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League Honorable Mention and All-Domestic Players Team.

Balint represented Hungary at the European Championships U20 Division B in Ohrid (FYR Macedonia) two years ago. Her stats at that event were 7 games: Score-4 (16.6ppg), 6.9rpg, 1.4apg, FGP-3 (54.9%), 3PT: 37.5%, FT: 91.7%. Balint has played previously for another Hungarian team Bacsbasket.

Andrea Hajdune Csaszar (200-C-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Kent St.) celebrated the tile abroad as her Helios Basket won the second consecutive LNA title. They swept the championship series versus Fribourg. Helios Basket clinched a comfortable 19-point victory in the third game of the series to claim the trophy. They swept the championship series versus Fribourg. Helios Basket clinched a comfortable 19-point victory in the third game of the series to claim the trophy. Sarah Kershaw stepped up with 29 points to pace the defending champions. Fribourg had their backs against the wall entering the game. And they reacted accordingly opening the game in an aggressive manner. Fribourg raced to a 26:20 lead after the starting quarter. They maintained the lead throughout the second term. The hosts accounted for a 45:38 halftime lead. But Helios Basket were not intimidated. The visitors reacted with a 25:12 rally in the third term. They pulled ahead to secure a 63:57 lead at the final intermission. Helios Basket finished the game in style outscoring the hosts 23:10 and clinching a well-deserved win. Alexia Rol delivered 23 points, while Karen Twehues added 12 points for the winners. Celeste Trahan-Davis answered with 27 points for Fribourg. Emilie Butty netted 11 points in defeat.
