Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hungarian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Anna Vadja (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas), who plays in the Spanish LFB. She could not help one of league's weakest teams Perfumerias Avenida (23-3) to beat Ros Casares (26-0). Vadja scored 6 points in 15 minutes on the court. Perfumerias Avenida was badly defeated 86-68 on the road by the second-ranked Ros Casares. It's Vadja's first season with the team. This year she averages: 4.5ppg, 4.1rpg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 31.3% and FT: 63.9% in the 30 games she played so far. Vadja is currently a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international center Petra Ujhelyi (192-80, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, college: S.Carolina). She managed to help TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow to win against the closely-ranked CCC Polkowice (22-4) 73-59 in the Polish PLKK last Saturday. Ujhelyi recorded only 4 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (25-1) is placed first in the PLKK. It was her team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. Ujhelyi's overall stats this season are: 6.2ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 44.8% and FT: 51.9%. She played for the Hungarian national team in 2009.

   #3. The Hungarian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international guard Diana Adela Pop (168-71). Pop was not able to help TSV 1880 Wasserburg (11-11) in their game against SV Halle Lions (11-11) in the German DBBL. She scored 5 points and had 3 steals in 27 minutes. TSV 1880 Wasserburg lost 72-78 in Halle to the lower-ranked (#7) SV Lions. Pop has been at the team for eight years. This season Pop's overall stats are: 4.6ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 32.4%, 3FGP: 30.8% and FT: 75.8% in the 26 games. She has a dual citizenship: Romanian and Hungarian. Pop played for the Hungarian national team three years ago.

   #4. Swingman Judit Fritz (183-87, college: St.Francis, NY), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) was not able to secure a victory for Borgotaro (5-21) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance the 14th-placed Borgotaro was defeated 68-56 at home by the much higher-ranked Marghera (#7) in the North group. Fritz scored 10 points. The Regular Season already ended. Fritz has relatively good stats this season: 11.8ppg, 6.1rpg and 2.0spg. Despite she played previously for the Romanian national team, Fritz is currently in the Hungarian university national team roster.

After Dora Nagy and Kirby Burkholder the two best scorer of last season signed to DVTK, Coach Gaspar David and ZTE Noi Kosarlabda Klub started to build a new team and they announced the first arrivals on their press conference. Elisabeth Pavel (191-C/F-90) the romanian center arrives from Nymburk. She averaged 8.1 points and 4.7 rebounds on the EuroCup in last season. Sigi Koizar (173-G-95) will replace Nagy on PG position. Passalacqua Spedizioni Ragusa (Serie A1) added to their roster 25-year old American forward Jessica Kuster (188-92, college: Rice). She played last season at PEAC-Pecs in Hungarian A Division. In 10 Eurocup games she had 13.1ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.8apg and 1.2spg. The previous (15-16) season Kuster played at Basketball Nymburk in Czech Republic where in 30 games she recorded 12.9ppg, 6.6rpg, 1.9apg and 1.5spg. Dora Szabo signs at BEAC Ujbuda - 6 days ago
ELTE-BEAC Ujbuda (A Division) landed 22-year old shooting guard Dora Szabo (171-95). She played most recently at PINKK-Pecsi in the A Division. In 5 Eurocup games she averaged 4.2ppg and 1.4rpg last season. The most of previous (2015-16) season Szabo spent at Cegledi EKK where in 25 games she had 7.6ppg, 2.6rpg and 1.3apg.
