Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hungarian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Anna Vadja (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas), who plays in the Spanish LFB. She could not help one of league's weakest teams Perfumerias Avenida (23-3) to beat Ros Casares (26-0). Vadja scored 6 points in 15 minutes on the court. Perfumerias Avenida was badly defeated 86-68 on the road by the second-ranked Ros Casares. It's Vadja's first season with the team. This year she averages: 4.5ppg, 4.1rpg, 2FGP: 33.3%, 3FGP: 31.3% and FT: 63.9% in the 30 games she played so far. Vadja is currently a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to former international center Petra Ujhelyi (192-80, also represented by Josep and Nicolas, college: S.Carolina). She managed to help TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow to win against the closely-ranked CCC Polkowice (22-4) 73-59 in the Polish PLKK last Saturday. Ujhelyi recorded only 4 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (25-1) is placed first in the PLKK. It was her team's 13th consecutive victory in a row. Ujhelyi's overall stats this season are: 6.2ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 44.8% and FT: 51.9%. She played for the Hungarian national team in 2009.

   #3. The Hungarian player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international guard Diana Adela Pop (168-71). Pop was not able to help TSV 1880 Wasserburg (11-11) in their game against SV Halle Lions (11-11) in the German DBBL. She scored 5 points and had 3 steals in 27 minutes. TSV 1880 Wasserburg lost 72-78 in Halle to the lower-ranked (#7) SV Lions. Pop has been at the team for eight years. This season Pop's overall stats are: 4.6ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.1apg, 2FGP: 32.4%, 3FGP: 30.8% and FT: 75.8% in the 26 games. She has a dual citizenship: Romanian and Hungarian. Pop played for the Hungarian national team three years ago.

   #4. Swingman Judit Fritz (183-87, college: St.Francis, NY), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) was not able to secure a victory for Borgotaro (5-21) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance the 14th-placed Borgotaro was defeated 68-56 at home by the much higher-ranked Marghera (#7) in the North group. Fritz scored 10 points. The Regular Season already ended. Fritz has relatively good stats this season: 11.8ppg, 6.1rpg and 2.0spg. Despite she played previously for the Romanian national team, Fritz is currently in the Hungarian university national team roster.

The official website of Aluinvent DVTK Miskolc published that the australian center Louella Tomlinson(193-F-88, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Regeneracom Sports) will be there new player. Tomlinson played and won championship in Hungary in 2013/14 and started this pre-season with Campus Promete in Spain. The australian center averaged 14.2 points and 6.0 rebounds when she won the title in Hungary and played the last season at home in WNBL and had 9.0 points and 5.4 points per game. Spartak MR - UNI Gyor 69:68 Spartak Moscow Region clinched the third position at the UMMC Cup pre-season tournament. They nipped UNI Gyor in the consolation final. Mariya Davydova (190-F/C-93, college: FIU) scored 26 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to lead the Russian side. UNI Gyor jumped to a 23:13 lead after the opening frame. Krnjic comes back to MKB Euroleasing - 5 days ago

UNIQA Euroleasing Sopron (A Division) re-signed 25-year old Serbian international center Sara Krnjic (191-91). Krnjic played in the summer at Washington Mystics (WNBA). She managed to play in three leagues last year (!!!). First Krnjic played at MKB Euroleasing where in 24 games she recorded 12.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.2apg and 1.5spg.
