Ieva Kublina
According to her agency and her profile at their web site, Ieva Kublina (193-C-82, college: Virginia Tech) is back to Hungary. The Latvian power forward signed a one-year contract with her former team UNI SEAT Gyor. They won the championship title in the country this season. Kublina played for UNI SEAT in 2010/11 averaging 13.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2 assists for 25 games in Hungary. She also added 12.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 2.1 apg for 10 EuroCup games. Ieva Kublina spent last season with Bourges and managed to win the French title with them. She had 4.1 ppg and 4.7 rpg for 29 games in the league. In Euroleague, the player registered 5.6 ppg and 4 rpg for 16 games. In the past, Ieva Kublina played for USK Praha and TTT Riga. She also has experience from Dynamo Moscow, Mondeville, Montpellier and Miskolc. Kublina is active member of the Latvian NT since 2003.

Talented Slovenian Eva Lisec (192-C-95) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Atomeromu and that's her to receive a Court Side Player of the Week award for round 18. The 21-year old center had the game-high 19 points adding six rebounds and four assists for Atomeromu in her team's victory, helping them to crush Vasas Akademia (#8, 4-13) with 24-point margin 81-57. The Regular Season in A Division is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds. The game with biggest result difference took place in Budapest. Local MTK (1-14) was outscored by sixth ranked Miskolc (10-6) 79-48 on Saturday night. The game without a history. We bring you last week's top performances from Hungarians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an international guard Allie Quigley (178-86). She could not help Fenerbahce (14-3) in their last game.
