Croatian Zvonko Buljan (206-F-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for Kormend and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 30 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Falco-Szova (#6, 4-2) 83-76. Kormend maintains the 11th position in Hungarian A Division. Kormend is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-4 record. Buljan turned to be Kormend's top player in his first season with the team. Texas Christian University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Buljan is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.4ppg) and averages solid 2.4spg and 55.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American guard Anthony Nelson (185-G-89) of Marso NYKK. Nelson impressed basketball fans with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Bad luck as Marso NYKK lost that game 84-90 to the higher-ranked Soproni (#2, 4-2). Despite lost game Marso NYKK moved up to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Nelson is a newcomer at Marso NYKK and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.4ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 7.8rpg and 6.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was Serbian Marko Spica (205-C/F-86) of top-ranked Kaposvari. Spica scored 20 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Kaposvari, leading his team to a 81-78 win against the lower-ranked Szedeak (#7, 3-3). Kaposvari confirms their top position in the standings Spica has a great season in Hungary. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.8ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 8.5rpg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Miljan Rakic (195-G-86) of Jaszberenyi - 25 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Donald Copeland (177-PG-84) of ZTE KK - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists
6. Alex Legion (195-G-88) of PVSK Pannon - 30 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Kyle Swanston (201-G/F-86) of Kaposvari - 33 points and 7 rebounds
8. Filip Barovic (208-F/C-90) of Soproni - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Milan Csorvasi (209-F/C-88) of Szedeak - 19 points and 17 rebounds
10. Earl Pettis (195-G-87) of FS Debrecen - 27 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
