Serbian center Sara Krnjic (196-C-91) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked UNIQA Eurol., receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 21-year old player was the main contributor (20 points, eight rebounds) to her team's victory, helping them to crush UNI Gyor (#2, 6-2) with 23-point margin 81-58. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed UNIQA Eurol. to consolidate first place in the Hungarian A Division. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and UNIQA Eurol. keeps perfect 9 -0 record. It's Krnjic's second year at UNIQA Eurol. and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Sara Krnjic averages this season 11.7ppg and 5.8rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old Serbian Maja Skoric (184-F-89) of DKSK. Skoric had a very good evening with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for DKSK to edge slightly higher-ranked PEAC-PECS (#3, 6-3) 75-69. DKSK's 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 5-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Skoric is well-known at DKSK and is a proven leader in her second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was another UNIQA Eurol.'s star - Serbian forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-F-89). Milovanovic scored 29 points. She was another key player of UNIQA Eurol., helping her team with a 81-58 easy win against #2 ranked UNI Gyor in a game of the week. UNIQA Eurol. have amazing season winning all 9 games without a single defeat. Milovanovic turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Milovanovic has a great season in Hungary. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.0ppg (2nd best).

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Hungary U18: three from three for start - 13 days ago
The U18 A Division European Championship came back to Sopron, Hungary. The "city of loyalty" was the host for the tournament in 2016 also and now again.
