Leader Atomeromu delivered the seventh win on Friday night. This time they beat 9th ranked Szedeak (3-6) 92-85 in Szeged. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 24-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Atomeromu looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) who scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 18 points. Atomeromu's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Anthony Gurley (190-88, college: Massachusetts) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Atomeromu have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-2 record, which they share with Albacomp and Kaposvari. Szedeak lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. They share it with Kormend and Marso NYKK. Atomeromu is looking forward to face PVSK Pannon (#8) in Pecs in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Szedeak will play on the road against Kormend and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Second ranked Albacomp blasted bottom-ranked FS Debrecen (0-9) in Szekesfehervar 89-59. FS Debrecen is still unable to win any game. It was a good game for American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 4 assists. Ronald Moore contributed with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Swingman Gabor Boros (198-82, college: USC Upstate) answered with 15 points for FS Debrecen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Albacomp have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Atomeromu and Kaposvari. FS Debrecen at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Albacomp will play against Marso NYKK (#9) in Nyiregyhazi in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FS Debrecen will play at home against Falco-Szova (#4) in Szombathely and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Jaszberenyi was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Soproni (6-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Jaszberenyi (4-5). Soproni did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-73 on Saturday. Filip Barovic stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The best for the losing side was Milos Markovic with 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Soproni moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Falco-Szova. Jaszberenyi lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with ZTE KK and PVSK Pannon. Soproni will meet at home higher ranked Kaposvari (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jaszberenyi will play against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 9 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Marso NYKK was defeated by Falco-Szova in Szombathely 96-83. PVSK Pannon beat Kormend at home 91-79. ZTE KK lost to Kaposvari on the opponent's court 78-95.

Albacomp - FS Debrecen 89-59

Second ranked Albacomp blasted bottom-ranked FS Debrecen (0-9) in Szekesfehervar 89-59. FS Debrecen is still unable to win any game. The game was mostly controlled by Albacomp. FS Debrecen was better in fourth quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Albacomp dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to FS Debrecen's 26. They outrebounded FS Debrecen 41-25 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. There was no surprise in Szombathely where 8th ranked Marso NYKK (3-6) was defeated by fourth ranked Falco-Szova (6-3) 96-83 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Falco-Szova. Marso NYKK managed to win third quarter 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Falco-Szova won last quarter 28-16. They also forced 19 Marso NYKK turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90) stepped up and scored 26 points and 4 assists for the winners and American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) chipped in 23 points. The best for the losing side was Bahamas forward Bennet Davis (206-84, college: Northeastern, agency: KMG Sports Management) with 25 points and 5 rebounds and Latvian forward Martins Berkis (198-85, agency: TSS Management) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Everything could happen in Pecs at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked PVSK Pannon and 10th ranked Kormend had identical 3-5 record. This time PVSK Pannon used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Kormend 91-79 on Saturday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. American guard Brad Loesing (182-89, college: Wofford) stepped up and scored 27 points and 8 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 26 points and 5 rebounds.
