Jaszberenyi (#7) forced the game against ZTE KK (#6) into an overtime, but lost by two points 89-91 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of Donald Copeland who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 assists. ZTE KK maintains sixth position with 5-5 record. Jaszberenyi lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with six games lost. ZTE KK will face higher ranked Soproni (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jaszberenyi will play against Kaposvari.

In the last game of round 10 Kaposvari smashed Soproni on the road 88-69. Albacomp destroyed Marso NYKK on its own court 81-53. PVSK Pannon was outscored by Atomeromu in Paks 86-60. Kormend rolled over Szedeak at home 104-79. Falco-Szova defeated FS Debrecen on the opponent's court 81-73.
The most impressive performance of 10th round was 29 points and 13 rebounds by Milan Csorvasi of Szedeak.


Soproni - Kaposvari 69-88

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Kaposvari (8-2) crushed on the road 5th ranked Soproni (6-4) 88-69 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-69. Kaposvari dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Soproni's 32. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian power forward Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 rebounds. American-Kittitian swingman Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Kaposvari's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Jeremy Wise (191-86, college: S.Mississippi) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and his fellow American import guard Dontay Thomas (186-84, college: La Salle) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Soproni. Kaposvari have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Albacomp and Atomeromu. Soproni at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. Kaposvari will face Jaszberenyi (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Soproni will play against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Albacomp led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a very good performance for American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Jozsef Lekli (206-87, agency: TSS Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Albacomp players scored in double figures. Very predictable result when first ranked Atomeromu (8-2) rolled over 8th ranked PVSK Pannon (4-6) in Paks 86-60 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-60. Atomeromu made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 PVSK Pannon turnovers and outrebounded them 38-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. MAFC Budapest (A Division) tabbed 31-year old Serbian shooting guard Uros Duvnjak (190-86, agency: BeoBasket). He played recently at Apollon Patras in Greek A1 league. Duvnjak managed to play in three leagues in two countries this year (!!!). In 8 A1 games he averaged 4.1ppg and 1.3apg.
