A Division is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 11 rounds left.

A Division round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader Atomeromu (9-3) against second ranked Albacomp (10-2) 91-82 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Atomeromu. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-82. Albacomp made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Albacomp outrebounded Atomeromu 41-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. American point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. His fellow American import guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) contributed with 26 points for the winners. American point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) answered with 14 points, 9 assists and 5 steals for Atomeromu. Albacomp keeps a position of league leader. Atomeromu at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Albacomp. Atomeromu will play next round against Jaszberenyi trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Albacomp will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Albacomp as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Albacomp defeated 4th placed Falco-Szova in Szekesfehervar 83-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Falco-Szova. It was a great evening for American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. Ronald Moore helped adding 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. American power forward Michael Fey (213-83, college: UCLA) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Falco-Szova's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Falco-Szova at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Soproni. Falco-Szova will play next round against Soproni trying to get back on the winning streak. Albacomp will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked ZTE KK at Zalaegerszeg.
A very close game took place in Zalaegerszeg between Soproni and ZTE KK. Fifth ranked Soproni (7-4) got a very close victory on the road over 6th ranked ZTE KK (5-6). Soproni managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Saturday evening. It was an exceptional evening for Gergely Toth who led the winners and scored 25 points. Donald Copeland came up with 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for ZTE KK in the defeat. Soproni moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Falco-Szova. Loser ZTE KK keeps the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with PVSK Pannon. Soproni will meet at home Falco-Szova (#4) in the next round. ZTE KK will play against the league's leader Albacomp in Szekesfehervar and hope to secure a win.
A Division top team - Atomeromu (9-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Kormend (4-7) in Paks 93-63. The best player for the winners was Steven Idlet who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Despite that victory Atomeromu went down to third position due to points difference. Kormend at the other side dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. Atomeromu's next round opponent will be Jaszberenyi (#8) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. Kormend will play against the league's second-placed Kaposvari.
Bottom-ranked FS Debrecen is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to eleventh ranked Szedeak (4-8) 80-66 on Wednesday evening. Nebojsa Dukic orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. Szedeak maintains eleventh place with 4-8 record. FS Debrecen lost their twelfth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Szedeak will have a break next round. FS Debrecen will play again at home against Szedeak (#11) in Szeged and hopes to get finally their first victory.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 11: winless FS Debrecen was smashed by Marso NYKK on the road 93-55. PVSK Pannon won against Szedeak on its own court 85-78. Kaposvari managed to outperform Jaszberenyi in a road game 96-84.
The most impressive performance of 11th round was 25 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals by Christopher Dunn of Kaposvari.



FS Debrecen - Szedeak 66-80

Bottom-ranked FS Debrecen is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to eleventh ranked Szedeak (4-8) 80-66 on Wednesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Szedeak. FS Debrecen was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Serbian power forward Nebojsa Dukic (206-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. The former international power forward Milan Csorvasi (209-88, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) contributed with 26 points and 6 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Kevin Smith (195-89, college: Richmond) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Brian Stafford (193-90, college: Denver) added 15 points in the effort for FS Debrecen. Szedeak maintains eleventh place with 4-8 record. FS Debrecen lost their twelfth game in a row. They still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Szedeak will have a break next round. FS Debrecen will play again at home against Szedeak (#11) in Szeged and hopes to get finally their first victory.

No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Marso NYKK (4-7) crushed bottom-ranked FS Debrecen (0-12) in Nyiregyhazi 93-55 on Sunday. The game without a history. Marso NYKK led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding FS Debrecen to just 7 points in second quarter. Marso NYKK dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to FS Debrecen's 24 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded FS Debrecen 41-29 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bahamas forward Bennet Davis (206-84, college: Northeastern, agency: KMG Sports Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Mate Mohacsi (192-90) contributed with 21 points and 4 steals for the winners. Davis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Marso NYKK players scored in double figures. American forward Kevin Smith (195-89, college: Richmond) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and forward Georgy Cseh (208-87) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for FS Debrecen. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Very expected game when 11th ranked Szedeak (4-8) lost to seventh ranked PVSK Pannon (5-6) in Pecs 78-85 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning next two quarters and won the game by 7 points. PVSK Pannon forced 19 Szedeak turnovers. American guard Brad Loesing (182-89, college: Wofford) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. PVSK Pannon's coach Ferenc Csirke used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Atomeromu - Kormend 93-63

A Division top team - Atomeromu (9-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Kormend (4-7) in Paks 93-63. It looked good early as Kormend took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Atomeromu had a 26-11 second period charge getting the lead and Kormend was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-93. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kormend's 26 and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Atomeromu forced 23 Kormend turnovers and outrebounded them 44-26 including a 22-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Steven Idlet (210-89, college: Tulsa) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) chipped in 14 points and 8 assists. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Croatian forward Zvonko Buljan (206-87, college: TCU) produced 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Matt Shaw (203-88, college: UNLV) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Atomeromu have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Despite that victory Atomeromu went down to third position due to points difference. Kormend at the other side dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. Atomeromu's next round opponent will be Jaszberenyi (#8) on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. Kormend will play against the league's second-placed Kaposvari.

Jaszberenyi - Kaposvari 84-96

Rather predictable result when third ranked Kaposvari (9-2) won against on the road 7th ranked Jaszberenyi (4-7) 96-84 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Jaszberenyi was better in fourth quarter 29-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Jaszberenyi was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. American-Kittitian swingman Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Jaszberenyi. Four Jaszberenyi players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Kaposvari. They moved-up to second place. Jaszberenyi lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. Kaposvari will face Kormend (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jaszberenyi will play against Atomeromu in Paks.
