29-year old point guard Christopher Dunn (189-PG-83, agency: Court Side) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Kaposvari and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11. He had the game-high 25 points adding six rebounds and five assists for Kaposvari in his team's victory, helping them to beat Jaszberenyi (#8, 4-7) 96-84. Kaposvari is placed at 2nd position in Hungarian league. They are still close to the very top. Kaposvari would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 9-2 record. In the team's last game Dunn had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Kaposvari's top player in his first season with the team. West Virginia State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Dunn is in league's top in points (7th best: 20.7ppg), assists (9th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 3.2spg,58.6% FGP and 46.7% from behind 3-point line.
Second best performed player last round was Milos Markovic (201-G/F-84) of Jaszberenyi. He is Serbian swingman in his first season at Jaszberenyi. In the last game Markovic recorded impressive double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Jaszberenyi lost that game 84-96 to the higher-ranked Kaposvari (#2, 9-2). This loss caused Jaszberenyi to drop to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-7 record. Markovic is a newcomer at Jaszberenyi and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Milan Csorvasi (209-F/C-88, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) of Szedeak (#11). Csorvasi scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Szedeak, leading his team to a 80-66 easy win against FS Debrecen (#13, 0-12). The chances of Szedeak not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Csorvasi could try to bring Szedeak's a little bit higher in the standings. Csorvasi has individually a great season in Hungary. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.3rpg (6th best).
Other top performing players last week: 4. Donald Copeland (177-PG-84) of ZTE KK - 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists 5. Bennet Davis (206-F-84) of Marso NYKK - 22 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists 6. Ronald Moore (183-PG-88) of Albacomp - 18 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists 7. Kyle Swanston (201-G/F-86) of Kaposvari - 21 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists 8. Kevin Smith (195-F-89) of FS Debrecen - 23 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists 9. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
