The most important game in the last round took place in Jaszberenyi between third ranked Atomeromu (9-4) and eighth ranked Jaszberenyi (5-7) on Friday night. Atomeromu was defeated by Jaszberenyi in a tough game on the road 84-91. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-84. Jaszberenyi looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Atomeromu helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (207-C-86, agency: BeoExcell) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) who added 28 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Jaszberenyi moved-up to seventh place, which they share with ZTE KK. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Jaszberenyi is looking forward to face Kormend (#10) on the road in the next round. Atomeromu will play against the league's second-placed Kaposvari (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
A Division top team - Albacomp (11-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked ZTE KK (5-7) in Zalaegerszeg 86-56. Albacomp maintains first position with 11-2 record. ZTE KK at the other side dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Jaszberenyi. Albacomp will play against Soproni (#4) at home in the next round. ZTE KK will play against Falco-Szova in Szombathely and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Sopron was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Falco-Szova (7-5) played at the court of fifth ranked Soproni (8-4). Soproni defeated Falco-Szova 86-72 on Friday. The best player for the winners was Filip Barovic who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Jonathan Levy who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds. Soproni moved-up to fourth place. Loser Falco-Szova dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Soproni will meet league's leader Albacomp in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Falco-Szova will play against ZTE KK (#7) in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 12 Marso NYKK lost to PVSK Pannon on the opponent's court 78-83. Kaposvari managed to outperform Kormend in a home game 105-88.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 26 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals by Christopher Dunn of Kaposvari.


Soproni - Falco-Szova 86-72

The game in Sopron was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Falco-Szova (7-5) played at the court of fifth ranked Soproni (8-4). Soproni defeated Falco-Szova 86-72 on Friday. The game without a history. Soproni led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Soproni outrebounded Falco-Szova 35-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin power forward Filip Barovic (208-90) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Dontay Thomas (186-84, college: La Salle) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Jonathan Levy (193-82, college: CS San Bernar.) who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Michael Fey (213-83, college: UCLA) added 15 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. Four Falco-Szova players scored in double figures. Soproni moved-up to fourth place. Loser Falco-Szova dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Soproni will meet league's leader Albacomp in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Rather expected game in Pecs where 9th ranked Marso NYKK (4-8) was defeated by seventh ranked PVSK Pannon (6-6) 83-78 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Marso NYKK won third quarter 19-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when PVSK Pannon won last quarter 24-21. It was a great shooting night for PVSK Pannon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who scored 24 points. The former international forward Norbert Toth (203-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four PVSK Pannon players scored in double figures. Kaposvari - Kormend 105-88

Very predictable result when second ranked Kaposvari (10-2) defeated at home 10th ranked Kormend (4-8) 105-88 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Kaposvari. Kormend managed to win second period 29-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kaposvari dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Kormend's 48 and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Kormend 33-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Kaposvari looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists.
