Szolnok overcame a sleepy start to the game and surprised Krka for the fourth win in Adriatic League season. Marton Bader (212-C-80, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) stepped up with 22 points to pace the hosts.
Krka dominated in the first quarter. The Slovenian team gained a 26:17 lead after ten minutes of action. Szolnok came back to life in the second quarter. The hosts held the Slovenian visitors to 12 points and narrowed the margin at 5-point mark 33:38 at halftime. Krka stretched the gap in the third term once again. The visitors held Szolnok to 13 points and ensured a 9-point advantage before the fourth frame. Szolnok refused to give up. Balazs Simon (187-PG-80, agency: TSS Management) Balasz helped the home team to level things up at 59 midway through the fourth frame. Akos Horvath soon put Szolnok in front. They led by a single point with under a minute remaining before Brandon Gay sank two free throws and secured the victory for Szolnok. Sead Sehovic (196-G/F-89) and Balazs Simon notched 13 points each for the winners. Edo Muric (202-F-91) answered with 15 points for Krka. Jakov Vladovic (187-PG-83) provided 13 points, 7 assists and 6 steals in the loss.

Egis Kormend (A Division) agreed terms with 26-year old American forward Cole Dickerson (201-104kg-91, college: USF). It is actually his comeback to Kormend as he has played here before. Dickerson supposed to play at Mornar Bar in Montenegrin Erste Liga, but left the team in Dec.'16. In 10 games he had 9.3ppg and 3.3rpg this season. B) landed 25-year old American guard Darion Rackley (190-77kg-92, college: Jacksonville State). He played recently at Orli Prostejov in NBL league in Czech Republic. Alba Fehervar - Szolnok 59:58 Alba Fehervar claimed the Hungarian Cup title. They narrowly overcame Szolnok in the Final tonight. Peter Lorant (206-F/C-85, agency: Octagon Europe) came up for Alba with go-ahead basket with just 12 seconds left in regulation to ice the victory for Alba.
