Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Szekesfehervar. First ranked Albacomp faced 4th placed Soproni. Host Albacomp (12-2) smashed guests from Sopron (8-5) 93-52. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Soproni. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-52. Albacomp dominated on the defensive end, holding Soproni to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Soproni's 28. American point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) fired 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. His fellow American import guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Albacomp's coach Branislav Dzunic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Montenegrin power forward Filip Barovic (208-90) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Albacomp have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-2 record. Soproni at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Falco-Szova. Albacomp are looking forward to face PVSK Pannon (#6) in Pecs in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Soproni will play at home against Kormend and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.

Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 8 rebounds. Lorenzo Williams contributed with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Atomeromu's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-83, college: W.Virginia St., agency: Court Side) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists for Kaposvari. Atomeromu maintains third place with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Albacomp. Kaposvari at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Atomeromu will play against ZTE KK (#9) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Kaposvari will play at home against FS Debrecen (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
FS Debrecen can celebrate finally their first win this season after 12 consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked PVSK Pannon (6-7) 82-66 on Wednesday. The game was dominated by American players. Brian Stafford stepped up and scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. At the losing side Alex Legion responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds. FS Debrecen (1-12) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place. Loser PVSK Pannon keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. FS Debrecen will meet league's second-placed Kaposvari on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. PVSK Pannon will play against the league's leader Albacomp (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.

Other games of round 13 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
ZTE KK was crushed by Falco-Szova in Szombathely 106-79. Marso NYKK beat Szedeak at home 95-78. Jaszberenyi lost to Kormend on the opponent's court 72-82.
The best stats of 13th round was 29 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals by Bennet Davis of Marso NYKK.

There was no surprise in Szombathely where 7th ranked ZTE KK (5-8) was crushed by fifth ranked Falco-Szova (8-5) 106-79 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Falco-Szova led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.3 percent from the field. Falco-Szova shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international guard Laszlo Kalman (186-72, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and American power forward Michael Fey (213-83, college: UCLA) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Falco-Szova players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bosnian center Teo Simovic (205-84) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and international David Gaspar (196-82, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) scored 10 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Everything could happen in Nyiregyhazi at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Marso NYKK and 11th ranked Szedeak had identical 4-8 record. This time Marso NYKK used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Szeged 95-78 on Wednesday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Marso NYKK outrebounded Szedeak 35-23 including 25 on the defensive glass.
