Bennet Davis
Bahamas Bennet Davis (206-F-84, agency: KMG Sports Management) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Marso NYKK and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 28-year old forward had a double-double of 29 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team crushed Szedeak (#11, 4-9) with 17-point margin 95-78. Marso NYKK is placed at 7th position in Hungarian A Division. Marso NYKK is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 5-8 record. Davis turned to be Marso NYKK's top player in his first season with the team. Northeastern University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davis is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 2.1spg and 59.6% FGP. Worth to mention Davis played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 29-year old American point guard Christopher Dunn (189-PG-83, agency: Court Side) of second-ranked Kaposvari. Dunn impressed basketball fans with 35 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Kaposvari lost that game 80-101 to slightly lower-ranked Atomeromu (#3, 10-4). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Kaposvari still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 10-3 record is not bad at all. Dunn is a newcomer at Kaposvari and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.2ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.4rpg and 5.4apg.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Csaba Ferencz (195-F-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) of Kormend (#10). Ferencz scored 22 points. He was a key player of Kormend, leading his team to a 82-72 win against Jaszberenyi (5-8). The chances of Kormend not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ferencz could try to bring Kormend's a little bit higher in the standings. Ferencz has a very solid season. In 13 games in Hungary he scored 13.7ppg. He also has 4.2rpg, FGP: 59.3% and 3PT: 41.4%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Kevin Smith (195-F-89) of FS Debrecen - 21 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Rastko Dramicanin (207-C-86) of Jaszberenyi - 18 points and 9 rebounds
6. Damian Hollis (203-F-88) of Albacomp - 14 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
7. David Vojvoda (196-G/F-90) of Atomeromu - 27 points and 8 rebounds
8. Jonathan Levy (193-G-82) of Falco-Szova - 19 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Brian Stafford (193-G-90) of FS Debrecen - 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Laszlo Kalman (186-G-72) of Falco-Szova - 26 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
