Rashad Bell
American-Hungarian dual citizen Rashad Bell (201-F-82, college: Boston U.) signed for the rest of the season with Hungarian powerhouse Szolnoki Olajbanyasz.

The 6'9" forward is a well-known and much respected player in our country. He signed to Hungary first in 2006, when he joined Zalakeramia-ZTE KK and was the best player of the league averaging 25.4ppg, 9.1rpg, 2.3apg and 2.2spg. In 2008/2009 season he was the leading scorer and best player of another Hungarian team, Albacomp-UPC Szekesfehervar with 22.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.3spg (FGP: 61.5%, 3PT: 39.0%, FT: 74.3%).

Rashad's last Hungarian team was MJUS-Fortress Kormend, an organization which he led in the past 2 seasons to the league semifinals. He averaged last year 18.3ppg, 7.4rpg, 2.3apg and 1.7spg (FGP: 57.2%, 3PT: 25.0%, FT: 74.1%) and although the team entered in the EuroChallange cup this year they couldn't afford to keep the fan favorite for the third season in a row. Short after he received the Hungarian passport, as a big surprise Rashad left the country and signed to Colombia. As the Colombian league ended in December there were plenty of rumors of him comming back to Hungary, so his return isn't a big surprise.

With the addition of Rashad Bell Szolnoki Olajbanyasz gained a very experienced, explosive scorer on the wing whos help will be much needed in the Adriatic League. The new signee will arrive to Hungary just after Christmas on the 26th of December.
