The american playmaker arrived last night to Hungary and will spend at least a week with the club in Kormend. After graduating on the California Baptist University, Omar Krayem (185-G-86, agency: Three Eye Sports, college: Cal.Baptist) signed his first professional deal with KSF Srbija Malmo in the second division in Sweden and run a great rookie season averaging 27.2ppg, 4.5rpg, 6.4apg, 4.8spg. It was not a big wonder, that several top division teams tried to get him for the coming season and he finally reached an agreement with Boras Basket. In 45 games of the Basketligan he put up amazing 18.6ppg, 4.4rpg, 6.1apg and 2.0spg. He got voted to the "Player and Guard of the year" and lead his team into the semifinals. Last summer he signed with hungarian club Zalakeramia ZTE KK but was not kept for the season after his two-weeks long trial period. He did not have to wait too long to find a new team and moved back to Sweden, where he played 8 games with The White Eagles of Stockholm and helped his team 17.8 points, 4.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.
