Familia Schio closed the Round with the win over UNIQA Euroleasing 89:71. The Italian team improved to 7-2 record and sent the guests to 2-7 record. Familia Schio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They outrebounded MKB Euroleasing 40-22 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Familia Schio looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by MKB Euroleasing's players. Jantel Lavender (190-C-88, college: Ohio St.) scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. She was named the second best player in the round's games Lavender had a very good evening with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Danielle McCray (186-SG-87, college: Kansas) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Shenise Johnson (180-G-90, college: Miami, FL) responded with 10 points and 6 rebounds and Reka Cserny scored 12 points. Familia Schio will face bottom-ranked Arras on the road in the next round where they are favorite. MKB Euroleasing will play against Fenerbahce in Istanbul.
