International Guard Dora Medgyessy (174-G-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for Cegledi EKK, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 17. The 30-year old player got a double-double of 17 points and 20 assists, while her team crushed MTK (#10, 1-13) with 24-point margin 93-69. Cegledi EKK maintains the 5th position in Hungarian A Division. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Cegledi EKK will need more victories to improve their 11-4 record. In the team's last game Medgyessy had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Cegledi EKK and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Dora Medgyessy has solid league stats. She is league's best passer with 9.5apg. Medgyessy is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.2spg and 56.0% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was another Cegledi EKK's star - 27-year old Serbian Maja Skoric (185-SF-89). Of course together with Medgyessy she helped Cegledi EKK with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked MTK (#10, 1-13) 93-69. Cegledi EKK's 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 11-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.3ppg (#2). Her other stats are also decent: 6.1rpg and 3.3apg.

She was a key player of Miskolc, leading her team to a 74-56 easy win against the lower-ranked ELTE-BEAC (#11, 1-14). In 14 games in Hungary she scored 12.6ppg.
Other top performing players last week: 4. Cayla George (192-C-89) of UNIQA Sopron - 21 points and 22 rebounds 5. Judit Barnai (189-F/C-94) of ELTE-BEAC - 20 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists 6. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
