Marko Spica
Serbian Marko Spica (205-C/F-86, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Kaposvari and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 16.
The 26-year old had the game-high 26 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Kaposvari in his team's victory, helping them to beat PVSK Pannon (#5, 8-8) 82-74. Kaposvari maintains the 2nd position in Hungarian A Division. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kaposvari will need more victories to improve their 12-4 record. Spica turned to be Kaposvari's top player in his first season with the team. Central Michigan University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Spica is league's best scorer averaging so far 21.6ppg. Spica is in league's top in and averages solid 63.4% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (207-C-86, agency: BeoExcell) of Jaszberenyi. Dramicanin impressed basketball fans with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. It was enough for Jaszberenyi to edge the lower-ranked Szedeak (#11, 5-11) by 6 points 84-78. This victory allowed Jaszberenyi to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Dramicanin is well-known by Jaszberenyi fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#6). He also registered 9.7 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Bahamas Bennet Davis (206-F-84, agency: KMG Sports Management) of Marso NYKK (#9). Davis scored 19 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Davis' great performance Marso NYKK lost 71-82 to slightly higher-ranked ZTE KK (#8, 7-8). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Marso NYKK not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 10 games, recording just six victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Davis could try to bring Marso NYKK's a little bit higher in the standings. Davis has individually a great season in Hungary. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.6rpg (2nd best). Davis attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Donald Copeland (177-PG-84) of ZTE KK - 29 points and 7 assists
5. Kyle Austin (203-F-88) of Kormend - 30 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Jonathan Levy (193-G-82) of Atomeromu - 22 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Milan Csorvasi (209-F/C-88) of Szedeak - 17 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Norbert Toth (203-F-86) of PVSK Pannon - 20 points and 8 rebounds
9. Brad Loesing (182-G-89) of PVSK Pannon - 28 points and 6 assists
10. Matt Shaw (203-F-88) of Kormend - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
