Milovanovic
23-year old forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-F-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team UNIQA Eurol. and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18.
She had a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat UNI Gyor (#2, 14-4) 76-62. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed UNIQA Eurol. to consolidate first place in the Hungarian A Division. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and UNIQA Eurol. keeps perfect 18 -0 record. In the team's last game Milovanovic had a remarkable 56.3% from 2-point range. She turned to be UNIQA Eurol.'s top player in her first season with the team. Milovanovic has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 18.9ppg) and averages solid 56.1% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Iva Roglic (189-PF-88) of Atomeromu. She is Serbian forward in her first season at Atomeromu. In the last game Roglic recorded impressive double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Atomeromu to edge slightly lower-ranked Cegledi EKK (#8, 5-13) in overtime by 5 points 91-86. Atomeromu's 7th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-11 record. Roglic is one of the most experienced players at Atomeromu and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Lenita Sanford (190-F-89) of DKSK (#4). Sanford scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Despite Sanford's great performance DKSK lost 70-87 to #3 ranked PEAC-PECS. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing DKSK needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 10 victories and 8 lost games. Sanford has a great season in Hungary. After 18 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.3rpg (2nd best). She also has 2.4spg and FGP: 57.3%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Andrea Karolyi (183-F/G-75) of BSE-FCSM - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Judit Barnai (190-F/C-94) of MBK Eurl.Vasas - 17 points and 14 rebounds
6. Diana Furesz (174-G-84) of PEAC-PECS - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Krisztina Raksanyi (181-G-91) of UNI Gyor - 23 points and 3 rebounds

9. Virag Szalay (172-PG-84) of ZTE NKK - 15 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Reka Balint (182-SF-91) of Atomeromu - 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
