Miljan Rakic
The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Albacomp (14-5) on the court of fifth ranked Jaszberenyi on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Jaszberenyi 75-70. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 47-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Miljan Rakic (195-86, agency: BeoExcell) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84) contributed with 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American forward Damian Hollis (203-88, college: G.Washington, agency: Two Points) answered with 10 points and 7 rebounds for Albacomp. Albacomp's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jaszberenyi (11-8) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Soproni. Albacomp at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Atomeromu. Jaszberenyi is looking forward to face Soproni (#4) on the road in the next round. Albacomp will play against FS Debrecen and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Kaposvari (13-6) against eighth ranked Falco-Szova (9-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Kaposvari was defeated by Falco-Szova in Szombathely 93-78. It was a great evening for Slovenian forward Zeljko Zagorac (204-81) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Benedek Varadi helped adding 18 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the losing side American-Kittitian swingman Kyle Swanston (201-86, college: JMU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) responded with 27 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Falco-Szova moved-up to sixth place, which they share with PVSK Pannon. Kaposvari at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Falco-Szova will play against Marso NYKK (#11) in Nyiregyhazi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Kaposvari will play on the road against ZTE KK (#8) in Zalaegerszeg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Pecs was also quite interesting. 6th ranked ZTE KK (8-10) played at the court of seventh ranked PVSK Pannon (9-10). PVSK Pannon managed to secure a 6-point victory 85-79 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Brad Loesing who led the winners and scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Donald Copeland came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists for ZTE KK in the defeat. PVSK Pannon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Falco-Szova. Loser ZTE KK dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. PVSK Pannon will meet Kormend (#10) on the road in the next round. ZTE KK will play against Kaposvari and hope to secure a win.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Soproni (11-8) and Szedeak (8-11), which took place in Szeged. 4th placed Soproni was outleveled in a road game by eleventh ranked Szedeak 79-56. Nebojsa Dukic fired 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Szedeak's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Szedeak. They moved-up to ninth place. Soproni at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Szedeak's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Atomeromu in Paks and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Soproni will play at home against Jaszberenyi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 19 Atomeromu beat Marso NYKK on the road 91-73. FS Debrecen won against Kormend on its own court 89-78.
The most impressive performance of 19th round was 31 points and 9 rebounds by Kevin Smith of FS Debrecen.

Marso NYKK - Atomeromu 73-91

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Atomeromu (14-5) beat 11th ranked Marso NYKK (7-12) in Nyiregyhazi 91-73. It looked good early as Marso NYKK took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Atomeromu had a 18-13 second period charge getting the lead and Marso NYKK was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 73-91. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Marso NYKK's 48. American point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) fired 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Mate Mohacsi (192-90) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds and Bahamas forward Bennet Davis (206-84, college: Northeastern, agency: KMG Sports Management) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Atomeromu. They used an opportunity after Albacomp lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Marso NYKK at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Atomeromu's next round opponent will be Szedeak (#9) in Szeged and are hoping to win another game. Marso NYKK will play at home against Falco-Szova in Szombathely.
