Here is the weekly review of the top performing Hungarian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Katalin Honti (177-87, currently plays in Spain). She led Rivas Ecopolis to a victory over the fifth-ranked Cadi ICG Software (6-7) 68-51 in the Spanish LFB in Saturday night's game. Honti was MVP of the game. She scored 17 points in 30 minutes on the court. Rivas Ecopolis (13-1) is placed first in the LFB. This year Honti averages: 9.8ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.7apg, 2FGP: 55.1%(27-49), 3FGP: 47.5%(19-40) and FT: 94.4%(17-18) in the 13 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Dora Horti (193-87, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group, currently plays in Euroleague). Horti contributed to a Wisla Can-Pak's victory against the closely-ranked Rivas Ecopolis (6-6) 74-66 in the Euroleague last Wednesday. She recorded 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (6-6) is placed third in group A. The Regular Season already ended in the Euroleague. Horti's overall stats this season are: 8.3ppg, 6.8rpg, 2FGP: 41.5% and FT: 69.0%. She is in the roster of the Hungarian senior national team.

The Hungarian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international power forward Anna Vadja (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. Vadja could not help Samsun in their last game. Despite her very good performance Samsun was edged 73-72 at home by the one of league's weakest teams (#13) Besiktas. Vadja had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 11 rebounds. She also added 4 assists and 3 steals in 34 minutes. It's Vadja's first season with the team. Vadja has relatively good stats this year: 10.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.9apg, 2FGP: 40.9%, 3FGP: 43.3% and FT: 64.7% in the 14 games. She is also a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #4. An experienced center Judit Kajdacsi (192-79, also represented by Laszlo Vinko Group, currently plays in Romania) helped Sf.Gheorghe win their game against the closely-ranked Timisoara (10-8) crushing them 91-52 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Kajdacsi recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and getting 12 rebounds. BC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe (13-5) is placed fourth in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Kajdacsi is ranked seventh on the list of the best rebounders in the league. Her overall stats this season are: 9.7ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.6spg. Kajdacsi used to play for the Hungarian national team back in 2010.

Former international forward Hajnalka Szlimak (182-82, currently plays in Romania) helped Satu Mare win their game against the tenth-ranked Craiova (8-12) crushing them 68-47 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Monday. She scored 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. CSM Satu Mare (17-3) is placed second in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. This year Szlimak's overall stats are: 5.2ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.2spg in the 19 games. She used to play for the Hungarian national team three years ago.

   #6. Center Viktoria Vincze (189-87, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help Wildcats Wolfenbuettel (10-5) in their game against Don Bosco Bamberg (0-0) in the German DBBL. She scored 7 points in only 10 minutes. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel lost 75-81 on the road to the leading Don Bosco Bamberg. They ended the series of three consecutive victories. This year Vincze's total stats are: 4.6ppg and 3.1rpg in the 11 games. She is a former university international player as she played for the Hungarian team four years ago.

   #7. Former international forward Ildiko Szakacs (187-81, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket (11-6) in their game against Riva Basket (13-4) in the Swiss LNA. Szakacs cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 2 points. Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket was crushed 92-47 in Riva San Vitale by the second-ranked Riva Basket. It was Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket's first loss after three consecutive victories. Szakacs' team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Szakacs has relatively solid stats: 11.8ppg, 4.6rpg, 2.9apg and 1.5spg. She used to play for the Hungarian national team eight years ago.

The list of other players, who all have Hungarian passport but never been selected to any of Hungarian national teams:

   #1. Katalin Kurtozi (193-C-81, agency: LBM Management, college: St.John's, currently plays in Belgium) managed to help Castors Braine to win against the closely-ranked Declercq Stortbeton (10-9) 79-69 in the Belgian Division I on Saturday night. Kurtozi scored only 4 points, grabbed 5 boards, passed 4 assists and added 3 steals. Castors Braine (10-7) is placed sixth in the Division I. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Kurtozi's total stats this season are: 7.9ppg, 6.8rpg, 1.1apg and 1.3spg.

   #2. Kata Takacs (184-F-91, currently plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Rhein Main Baskets (6-9) 76-57 in the German DBBL last Saturday. Takacs scored 8 points. BG '89 Avides Hurricanes Rotenburg (6-9) is placed seventh in the DBBL. It was her team's first victory after four consecutive loses. Takacs has averaged so far 4.0ppg and 2.4rpg. She has a dual citizenship: Hungarian and Austrian.

   #3. Experienced Diana Adela Pop (168-G-71, currently plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked BasCats Heidelberg 68-53 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) on Sunday night. Pop scored only 3 points, had 4 boards, passed 3 assists and added 3 steals in 21 minutes. Friendsfactory Jahn Muenchen (5-9) is placed ninth in South group. It was her team's first victory after five consecutive loses. Pop has averaged so far 2.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 3.0apg and 2.0spg in the two games she played so far. She is another player who holds two passports: Romanian and Hungarian.

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Hungarians who are currently playing abroad. This week's number one is an international guard Allie Quigley (178-86). She could not help one of league's weakest teams Fenerbahce (4-1) in their last game. Talented Judit Barnai (189-F/C-94) had a great game in the last round for ELTE-BEAC and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 9. The 22-year old power forward had a double-double of 20 points and fifteen rebounds, while her team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team MTK (#10, 0-8) with 16-point margin 70-54. A Division Round 9: PEAC-Pecs beat Miskolc in the most crucial game of the week - 3 days ago

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Miskolc. First ranked PEAC-Pecs faced 4th placed Miskolc. Guests from Pecs (7-1) defeated host Miskolc (5-3) 59-54. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Miskolc. Miskolc trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 23-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 54-59 at the end of the game.
