There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in A Division.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked MKB Euroleasing as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Division. MKB Euroleasing smashed 6th ranked Samorin in Sopron 96-74. The game was mostly controlled by MKB Euroleasing. Samorin managed to win fourth quarter 28-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MKB Euroleasing made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Samorin's players. Serbian forward Jelena Milovanovic (190-89) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Shenise Johnson (180-90, college: Miami, FL) chipped in 18 points during the contest. MKB Euroleasing's coach Norbert Szekely felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Greek power forward Stefanie Murphy (192-89, college: Boston Coll.) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Samorin at the other side keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Samorin will play next round against DKSK trying to get back on the winning streak. MKB Euroleasing will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked MBK Ruzomberok at home.
Fifth-ranked BSE-FCSM (8-15) gave a tough game to third ranked Atomeromu (14-8) in Budapest. The visitors from Szekszard managed to secure only two-point victory 85-83. However their fans expected easier game. International Reka Balint (182-91) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Maja Scekic supported her with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Even 40 points (!!!) and 4 steals by the former international swingman Andrea Karolyi (183-75) did not help to save the game for BSE-FCSM. BSE-FCSM's coach Stevan Cupic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Atomeromu maintains third position in Division with 14-8 record having just -18 point less than leader UNIQA Eurol. BSE-FCSM at the other side keeps the fifth place with 15 games lost. Atomeromu will play against league's leader Bacsbasket in Baja in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
