Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Hungarians who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Katalin Honti (177-87, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Spain. She could not help Rivas Ecopolis (6-6) in their last game. Despite Honti's good performance the fourth-placed Rivas Ecopolis lost 61-72 at home to the leading Spartak Vidnoye in the group A of Euroleague. She was the second best scorer with 11 points. Honti also added 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists in 35 minutes on the court. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. It's Honti's first season with the team. This year Honti averages: 5.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.2apg, 2FGP: 36.7%, 3FGP: 25.0% and FT: 86.7% in the 12 games she played so far. She is currently a member of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Dora Horti (193-87, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group, currently plays in Poland). Horti contributed to an easy victory against the league outsider PTK Pabianice (0-17) crushing them 83-56 in the Polish PLKK last Wednesday. She scored 10 points, had 8 rebounds and dished 3 assists. TS Wisla Can-Pack Krakow (14-3) is placed third in the PLKK. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Horti's overall stats this season are: 9.7ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.2spg, 2FGP: 56.3%(54-96) and FT: 73.1%. She is in the roster of the Hungarian senior national team.

   #3. The Hungarian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Hajnalka Szlimak (182-82, currently plays in Romania). Szlimak contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Craiova (8-13) crushing them 68-47 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. She recorded 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 26 minutes. CSM Satu Mare (18-3) is placed second in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's sixth consecutive victory in a row. This year Szlimak's overall stats are: 5.3ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.2spg, 3FGP: 39.0% in the 20 games. She played for the Hungarian national team three years ago.

An experienced center Judit Kajdacsi (192-79, also represented by Laszlo Vinko Group, currently plays in Romania) contributed to Sf.Gheorghe's victory against the 13th-ranked Rapid (4-15) 88-78 in the Romanian Liga Nationala in Saturday night's game. Kajdacsi recorded 6 points and blocked 2 shots. BC Sepsi SIC Sfantu Gheorghe (14-5) is placed fourth in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Kajdacsi's total stats this season are: 9.5ppg, 8.6rpg, 1.1apg and 1.6spg. She used to play for the Hungarian national team back in 2010.

Former University international swingman Judit Fritz (183-87, college: St.Francis, NY, currently plays in France) contributed to Dunkerque's victory against the closely-ranked Roche (7-8) 77-71 in the French LF2 (12th division) last Saturday. Fritz scored 10 points and added 3 assists in 37 minutes. Dunkerque Malo Basket Club (6-10) is placed tenth in the LF2. This year Fritz's total stats are: 8.0ppg, 2.2rpg, 1.9apg and 1.8spg in the 13 games. She used to play for the Hungarian university national team four years ago.

Center Andrea Vincze (190-89, currently plays in Romania) managed to help CS Universitatea Cluj Napoca in a victory against one of league's weakest teams Oradea (0-20) crushing them 80-34 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Wednesday night. Vincze scored only 4 points in 12 minutes. CS Universitatea Cluj Napoca (4-14) is placed 12th in the Liga Nationala. They ended the series of seven consecutive loses. Vincze has averaged so far 4.5ppg and 3.8rpg in the 16 games. She is a former U18 international player as she played for the Hungarian team six years ago.

Former University international center Viktoria Vincze (189-87, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help Wildcats Wolfenbuettel (10-6) in their game against Oberhausen (7-9) in the German DBBL. Vincze cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She recorded only 2 points. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel was defeated 74-59 on the road by the much lower-ranked Oberhausen (#9). Vincze has averaged so far 4.4ppg and 3.0rpg. She used to play for the Hungarian university national team four years ago.

Forward Ildiko Szakacs (187-81, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for one of league's weakest teams Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket (11-7) in their game against Fribourg (13-5) in the Swiss LNA. Szakacs scored 5 points and added 4 passes in 21 minutes. Ovronnaz-Martigny Basket was crushed 80-56 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked (#3) Fribourg. Szakacs has relatively good stats this year: 11.4ppg, 4.4rpg, 2.9apg and 1.4spg in the 18 games. She used to play for the Hungarian national team back in 2005.

The list of other players, who all have Hungarian passport but never been selected to any of Hungarian national teams:

   #1. Andrea Hajdune Csaszar (200-C-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Kent St., currently plays in Switzerland) led Helios to an easy victory against the fifth-ranked Hope-GBA (11-7) crushing them 83-44 in the Swiss LNA on Saturday night. Hajdune Csaszar recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting 13 rebounds. She also added 7 assists, 7 blocks and 6 steals. Helios VS Basket (18-0) is placed first in the LNA. So far her team won all eighteen games in the Regular Season. Hajdune Csaszar has averaged so far 8.6ppg, 8.7rpg, 3.0apg, 1.8bpg and 1.9spg.

   #2. Katalin Kurtozi (193-C-81, agency: LBM Management, college: St.John's, currently plays in Belgium) managed to help Castors Braine in a victory against the closely-ranked Basket Groot (8-6) 72-62 in the Belgian Division I in Saturday night's game. She scored only 2 points in 14 minutes. Castors Braine (11-7) is placed sixth in the Division I. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Kurtozi has averaged so far 7.6ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.2spg in the 17 games she played so far.

   #3. Kata Takacs (184-F-91, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German DBBL could not help Rotenburg/Scheessel (6-10) to beat BC Pharmaserv Marburg (7-9). She recorded 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Rotenburg/Scheessel was defeated 67-54 on the road by the higher-ranked BC Pharmaserv Marburg (#8). Takacs has averaged so far 4.1ppg and 2.6rpg. She has a dual citizenship: Hungarian and Austrian.

Lisec's double-double lands her Player of the Week award - 1 day ago
21-year old center Eva Lisec (192-C-95) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Atomeromu and receives a Player of the Week award for round 19. She had a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds, while her team beat UNI Gyor (#3, 13-4) 67-62. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.
