The most shocking disappointment of round 20 was a home defeat of 4th ranked Soproni (11-9) to fifth ranked Jaszberenyi (12-8) 64-60 in the game for the fourth place. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-13. But Soproni won second period 15-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Soproni 46-32 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (207-86, agency: BeoExcell) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds and Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84) who added 17 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. American guard Dontay Thomas (186-84, college: La Salle) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 assists. Jaszberenyi have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Soproni at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Jaszberenyi are looking forward to face ZTE KK (#10) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round where they are favorite. Soproni will play on the road against Kaposvari (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
A Division top team - Albacomp (15-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked FS Debrecen (2-18) 108-66. The winners were led by international forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Brandon Wood supported him with 22 points. Albacomp's coach Branislav Dzunic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Kevin Smith (195-89, college: Richmond) did not help to save the game for FS Debrecen. Albacomp maintains first position with 15-5 record, which they share with Atomeromu. FS Debrecen at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 18 games lost. Albacomp will play against Marso NYKK (#11) in Nyiregyhazi in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FS Debrecen will play on the road against Falco-Szova in Szombathely and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Kormend was also quite interesting. 6th ranked PVSK Pannon (9-11) played at the court of eighth ranked Kormend (9-11). Kormend defeated PVSK Pannon 89-78 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Matt Shaw who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Alex Legion produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the guests. Kormend moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated PVSK Pannon. Kormend will meet Szedeak (#9) in the next round. PVSK Pannon will play against the league's second-placed Atomeromu and will have a slim chance for a victory.
A very interesting game took place in Nyiregyhazi. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 11th ranked Marso NYKK (7-13) to seventh ranked Falco-Szova (10-10) 77-75 on Saturday evening. Zeljko Zagorac orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 19 rebounds. Falco-Szova moved-up to sixth place. Marso NYKK lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Falco-Szova's next round opponent will be FS Debrecen (#12) at home where they are favorite. Marso NYKK will play against the league's leader Albacomp in Szekesfehervar.

In the last two games of round 20 Szedeak lost to Atomeromu on the opponent's court 78-94. ZTE KK unfortunately lost to Kaposvari in a home game 71-83.

FS Debrecen - Albacomp 66-108

A Division top team - Albacomp (15-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked FS Debrecen (2-18) 108-66. It looked good early as FS Debrecen took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Albacomp had a 31-11 second period charge getting the lead and FS Debrecen was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 66-108. Albacomp forced 19 FS Debrecen turnovers and outrebounded them 43-27 including 18 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by international forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Brandon Wood (187-89, college: Michigan St., agency: N.E.T.) supported him with 22 points. Szedeak was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 57-32 second half run of Atomeromu. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Szedeak's 38. They outrebounded Szedeak 38-25 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Atomeromu players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Szedeak's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. American point guard Lorenzo Williams (189-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 25 personal fouls committed by ZTE KK helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
