Mondeville grabbed valuable road win against SEAT Lami in Hungary jumping to perfect 2-0 in Group A. It means that the French squad made a huge step forward to Preliminary Round. Lenae Williams (186-F-79, college: De Paul) once again was a key player in victory scoring 18 points. Actually she was the only one with double-digits as second scorer of the winning team was Yacine Sene (183-F-82) with 9 pts. For the hosts, Orsolya Englert (170-G-80) delivered 20 pts. Hajdana Radunovic (192-F/C-78) this time stopped on 10 and her SEAT Lami fell to 1-1. SEAT Lami was slightly better team at the beginning taking 18-17 lead in the first quarter. Mondeville responded until the half time, but that was enough just for plus one after 20 minutes of play. Third quarter was totally leveled. Teams exchanged baskets and neither was able to make a serious run. That finally happened at the halfway of the last quarter, when Mondeville jumped to 51-59. SEAT Lami made few consecutive baskets, but was not able to come any closer than 3 points, how much it was at the end after basket by Hajdana Radunovic. Actually, Mondeville missed in its last possession, but on the other side Djelmis was unsuccessful from behind the arc with just 7 second to go. There was not time for the hosts any more.

Fenerbahce rolled over Szeged in Hungary in the last game of the Qualifying Round 4. The Turkish side tied their record at 2-2 after 70:66 victory.

Fenerbahce rolled over Szeged in Hungary in the last game of the Qualifying Round 4. The Turkish side tied their record at 2-2 after 70:66 victory. Fenerbahce had an easy start and took 18:5 after the first 10 minutes of the game. Ciglar pulled he team down to 20:26, however Nicole Powell (188-G/F-82, college: Stanford) gave the guests 34:22. Tuncluer closed the half as the Turkish team enjoyed 40:27 advantage. The latter held 10-point advantage in the third period and even took 61:48 at the end of it. Szeged however was too far to give up and was too good in the end of the game. Trailing 70:60 with 3.30 in the game, the Hungarian side kept the guests scoreless and cut it to 70:66 as Vaida Sipaviciute (193-C-85, agency: LBM Management, college: Syracuse) was the last to score in the game. Nicole Powell top-scored for the winners with 16 points, while Nevriye Yilmaz (195-C-80) and Penelope Taylor (185-F-81) netted 13 each. Vaida Sipaviciute ended up with 21 points in defeat, while Olena Zherzherunova (191-F-78, agency: LBM Management) posted 17. In another games of the group storming start propelled Spartak Moscow Region to the third straight win in the Euroleague season. Spartak ensured a comfortable home success against Tarbes 81:56. Frisco Sika grabbed 3-1 in Group D with an 83:72 home win over Lotos Gdynia. Trailing 18-20 after the opening quarter the hosts won the rest of the periods.

Tijana Krivacevic (194-F-90) scored for 18:17 at the end of the opening quarter and Ujhelyi gave Rivas Ecopolis the lead for good at the half in the beginning of the second frame. Crystal Langhorne (188-F/C-86, college: Maryland) closed the first half at 36:31 from the free throw line. The Hungarian side came back with the better game from the lockers and grabbed 39:38 as Kata Honti made a jump shot. Semsei scored for 46:40, while Crystal Langhorne's points gave her team for 47:46 after three quarters. After that moment the guests never looked behind in the game. Crystal Langhorne paced all the winners with 22 points and Catherine Joens (180-G-82) added 16. Tijana Krivacevic notched 15 points for the hosts and Kata Honti had 13. In another games of the group Polish Gorzow grabbed a 49:39 win over Bourges in the most defensive style in the EuroLeague Women. The hosts made history with the result as it marked their first-ever win in the competition. Dobri Angels celebrated the initial victory in Group C as they beat USK Prague at home. The Slovakian side registered 73:70 to improve to 1-3 record.
