Winsome
Frazier
Kaposvari KK (A Division) added to their roster experienced 35-year old American swingman Winsome Frazier (193-87kg-82, college: Mississippi State, agency: Interperformances). He has played for the last two seasons at La Union in Argentinian LigaA. In 66 games he recorded 12.7ppg, 3.4rpg and 1.8spg (in top 3) last season. Frazier helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com Argentinian LigaA All-Imports Team and Honorable Mention.
His team won Cyprus Cup in 2012.
Frazier is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in nine different countries. Frazier tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Germany (Telekom Baskets), Greece (Marousi), Italy, Poland (AZS Koszalin), Ukraine (Kryvbas), Venezuela (Panteras and Bucaneros), Hungary (Szolnok and Falco KC Szombathely), Cyprus (Keravnos) and WBA Western Conf. (Gulf Coast B.).
Frazier is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Kaposvari.
Frazier attended Mississippi State until 2005 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.

There are only two more rounds left in the Second Stage in A Division. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Adam Hanga selected the top Hungarian playing abroad in last week's games - 2 days ago
Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Hungarians who are currently playing abroad. This week's number one is an international small forward Adam Hanga (199-89, agency: Octagon Europe). He could not help Baskonia (17-13) in their last game. Despite Hanga's good performance Baskonia was edged 90-88 at home by the second-ranked CSKA.    [read more]
