The game between Top Four teams took place in Szekesfehervar. First ranked host Alba (12-2) defeated 3rd ranked ZTE KK (9-5) 90-81. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ZTE KK. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-81. Alba outrebounded ZTE KK 35-24 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists during the contest. American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) responded with 20 points and 7 assists. Alba have a solid three-game winning streak. Atomeromu will meet MAFC (#13) in the next round. Falco KC will play against the league's leader Alba (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
Second ranked Kormend (10-4) crushed at home 8th ranked Szedeak (7-7) by 33 points 100-67, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Szedeak. Lenzelle Smith Jr. orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. Kormend's coach Gasper Potocnik felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kormend maintains second position with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Alba. Szedeak at the other side keeps the eighth place with seven games lost. Kormend's next round opponent will be Kaposvari (#7) on the road where they are favorite. Szedeak will play against PVSK Pannon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 14: KTE-Duna won against Vasas on the opponent's court 81-74. Jaszberenyi managed to outperform MAFC in a home game 79-63. Szolnok rolled over PVSK Pannon on the road 95-73.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists by Marko Djerasimovic of KTE-Duna.

Vasas - KTE-Duna 74-81

Very expected game in Budapest where 13th ranked Vasas (3-11) were defeated by ninth ranked KTE-Duna (7-7) 81-74. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Vasas won third quarter 19-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KTE-Duna players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Serbian swingman Marko Djerasimovic (198-84, agency: BeoExcell) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Sam Thompson (201-92, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Ronnie Taylor (187-81, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Octagon Europe) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Vasas. Five Vasas players scored in double figures. KTE-Duna moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Szedeak. Newly promoted Vasas dropped to the bottom position with 11 games lost. But then Kormend had a 23-13 second period charge getting the lead and Szedeak was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-100. Kormend dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Szedeak's 32. They outrebounded Szedeak 38-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. American guard Lenzelle Smith Jr. (193-91, college: Ohio St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Kormend players scored in double figures. American guard, Kasey Hill(185-G-93, college: Florida) signed with Hungarian Champion and Cup Winner ALBA for the coming season. The 185 cm tall, 23 years old rookie graduated on the University of Florida this summer and was a key player of the Gators. As a junior he averaged 9.1ppg, 2.4rpg, 3.3apg, 1.5spg in 36 games and lead his team to the Elite 8, where they lost 77:82 against George Washington.
