Top ranked Alba (12-3) recorded its third loss in Szombathely on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by fifth ranked Falco KC (9-6) 89-61. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Alba. The game without a history. Falco KC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Alba to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Falco KC made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Alba's players. The best player for the winners was international guard Benedek Varadi (195-95) who scored 23 points and 4 assists. Belarusian-Russian Aliaksandr Pustahvar (202-85) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Falco KC moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Szolnok and Kaposvari. Alba at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Falco KC is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Vasas (#14) in Budapest in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Alba will play at home against MAFC (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kormend (10-5) against seventh ranked Kaposvari (9-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Kormend was defeated by Kaposvari in Kaposvar 77-66. It was a good game for American forward Malik Cooke (201-89, college: S.Carolina, agency: Inception Sports) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Winsome Frazier contributed with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-88, college: UTRGV) answered with 16 points and 4 assists for Kormend. Kaposvari moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Szolnok and Falco KC. Kormend at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with ZTE KK. Kaposvari will play against Jaszberenyi (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kormend will play against PVSK Pannon (#8) in Pecs and hopes to get back on the winning track.

It was a great evening for Nenad Sulovic who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was Chris Smith with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. PVSK Pannon's coach Ferenc Csirke gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Szedeak moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated PVSK Pannon. PVSK Pannon lost fourth consecutive game. Szedeak will meet KTE-Duna (#10) in the next round. PVSK Pannon will play against the league's second-placed Kormend where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.

Other games of round 15 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
KTE-Duna was crushed by Szolnok in Szolnok 88-61. MAFC was beaten by Atomeromu at home 68-81. Bottom-ranked Vasas lost to ZTE KK on the opponent's court 81-97. Sopron KC outscored Jaszberenyi in a home game 99-62.

Szolnok - KTE-Duna 88-61

There was no surprise when 9th ranked KTE-Duna (7-8) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Szolnok (9-6) 88-61 on Saturday. Szolnok looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Croatian center Luksa Andric (208-85, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. International power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five Szolnok players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) scored 13 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Szolnok have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 9-6 record, which they share with Falco KC and Kaposvari. Loser KTE-Duna keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Sopron KC. Szolnok will meet higher ranked ZTE KK (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KTE-Duna will play against Szedeak (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Atomeromu's (5-10) road victory over 13th ranked MAFC (3-12) 81-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Atomeromu. MAFC managed to win second period 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Atomeromu looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Matt Tiby (203-92, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Laurynas Samenas (192-88) helped adding 23 points and 6 rebounds. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. Very expected game in Zalaegerszeg where 14th ranked Vasas (3-12) were defeated by third ranked ZTE KK (10-5) 97-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by ZTE KK. Vasas managed to win second period 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. It was a great evening for American guard Julian Norfleet (188-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) helped adding 18 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward A.J.
