The game between third ranked Falco KC (12-7) and fourth ranked Kormend (13-6) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Falco KC was defeated by Kormend in Kormend 81-92. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Falco KC. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Kormend. Falco KC managed to win second period 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kormend dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Falco KC's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Falco KC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-88, college: UTRGV) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Drew Barham (198-89, college: Gonzaga) answered with 23 points and 6 rebounds for Falco KC. Falco KC's coach Srecko Sekulovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kormend have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kaposvari. Falco KC at the other side dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Szolnok. Kormend is looking forward to face bottom-ranked MAFC (#14) in Budapest in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Falco KC will play at home against PVSK Pannon (#7) and is hoping to win this game.
A Division top team - Alba (16-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat twelfth ranked Atomeromu (5-14) in Paks 83-73. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. Akos Keller helped adding 13 points and 6 rebounds. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American power forward Matt Tiby (203-92, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) responded with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Alba have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 16-3 record. Atomeromu lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Alba will play against league's second-placed Kaposvari at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Atomeromu will play against Vasas (#13) in Budapest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Sopron supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Szolnok (12-7) played at the court of 8th ranked Sopron KC (9-10). Szolnok smashed Sopron KC 95-74 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Troy Barnies who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Johnson came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds for Sopron KC in the defeat. Sopron KC's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Falco KC. Loser Sopron KC keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Szedeak. Szolnok will meet at home Jaszberenyi (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sopron KC will play against Szedeak and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Pecs was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked ZTE KK (11-8) played at the court of seventh ranked PVSK Pannon (11-8). PVSK Pannon managed to secure a 8-point victory 97-89. Ismet Sejfic fired 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds for the winners. PVSK Pannon moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated ZTE KK. PVSK Pannon's next round opponent will be higher ranked Falco KC (#5) in Szombathely and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Other games in round 19 were not that significant. KTE-Duna was beaten by Kaposvari on the road 80-73. Jaszberenyi destroyed Vasas on its own court 97-77. Szedeak managed to outperform MAFC in Szeged 85-67.

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Kaposvari (13-6) beat at home 9th ranked KTE-Duna (8-11) 80-73.
