The game between Top Four teams took place in Szekesfehervar. First ranked host Alba (17-3) smashed 3rd ranked Kaposvari (13-7) 94-67. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Kaposvari. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 18-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-67. Alba dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kaposvari's 42. They outrebounded Kaposvari 47-32 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Alba looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Alba made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Canadian guard Justin Edwards (190-92, college: Kansas St.) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American center Kenneth Simms (205-86, college: Cumberland, agency: Promotex) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alba have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-3 record. Kaposvari at the other side dropped to the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Szolnok. Alba are looking forward to face Vasas (#13) in Budapest in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Sopron KC unfortunately lost to Falco KC on the opponent's court 75-79.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 28 points and 10 rebounds by Marko Djerasimovic of KTE-Duna.

ZTE KK - KTE-Duna 85-80

Very expected game in Zalaegerszeg where 10th ranked KTE-Duna (8-12) was defeated by sixth ranked ZTE KK (12-8) 85-80 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KTE-Duna won fourth quarter 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ZTE KK looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 assists and 4 steals and the former international forward Zsolt Szabo (202-86) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four ZTE KK players scored in double figures.
