The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

The game between second ranked Falco KC (16-8) and fourth ranked Kaposvari (15-8) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. Falco KC was crushed by Kaposvari in Kaposvar 94-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Falco KC. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-75. Kaposvari made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Kaposvari outrebounded Falco KC 43-26 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). The former international power forward Roland Hendlein (206-86) helped adding 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) responded with 17 points and 4 assists. Kaposvari maintains fourth place with 15-8 record, which they share with Szolnok. Falco KC at the other side dropped to the third position with eight games lost. Kaposvari is looking forward to face Szolnok (#5) in Szolnok in the next round. Falco KC will play on the road against MAFC in Budapest and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kormend (16-7) against twelfth ranked Atomeromu (8-15) on Tuesday night. Visiting Kormend was defeated by Atomeromu in Paks 95-84. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Kormend. Americans were the main players on the court. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Talor Battle accounted for 5 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists. Guard Lenzelle Smith-Jr (193-91, college: Ohio St.) came up with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for Kormend in the defeat. Atomeromu moved-up to eleventh place. Kormend at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Atomeromu will play against higher ranked PVSK Pannon (#7) in Pecs in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kormend will play at home against the league's leader Alba (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
A Division top team - Alba (19-4) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Szedeak (11-12) in Szekesfehervar 94-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Szedeak. The best player for the winners was Alhaji Mohammed who scored 21 points. Marko Boltic produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals for the guests. Alba maintains first place with 19-4 record. Loser Szedeak keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Alba will meet league's second-placed Kormend on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Szedeak will play against Vasas (#13) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 23: bottom-ranked MAFC lost to ZTE KK on the opponent's court 80-86. Vasas lost to defending champion Szolnok in a home game 88-96. Sopron KC recorded a loss to KTE-Duna on the road 84-90. PVSK Pannon defeated Jaszberenyi on its own court 80-76.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 23 points and 12 rebounds by Adomas Drungilas of ZTE KK.

ZTE KK - MAFC 86-80

Very expected game in Zalaegerszeg where 14th ranked MAFC (3-20) was defeated by sixth ranked ZTE KK (14-9) 86-80 on Thursday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. MAFC was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. ZTE KK made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (203-90) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Court Side) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. American point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Two Points) produced 18 points and 6 assists and Indian-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (201-87) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five MAFC players scored in double figures. ZTE KK maintains sixth place with 14-9 record. MAFC lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. ZTE KK will meet Sopron KC (#9) on the road in the next round. MAFC will play against Falco KC (#3) and hope to secure a win.

It was a great shooting night for Alba especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Ghanian guard Alhaji Mohammed (192-81, college: Louisville, agency: Three Eye Sports) who scored 21 points. FC Barcelona Lassa (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 28-year old Hungarian international small forward Adam Hanga (199-90kg-89, agency: Octagon Europe). He moved there from Baskonia in Spanish Liga Endesa where he played this season. In 2011 he was drafted by San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in second round (59th overall).
