Adomas
Drungilas
Lithuanian Center Adomas Drungilas (203-C-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for ZTE KK, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat MAFC (#14, 3-20) 86-80. ZTE KK maintains the 6th position in Hungarian A Division. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. ZTE KK will need more victories to improve their 14-9 record. Drungilas turned to be ZTE KK's top player in his first season with the team. Adomas Drungilas has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 7.5rpg) and averages impressive 62.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 35-year old American Ronnie Taylor (187-PG-81, agency: Octagon Europe) of Vasas. Taylor had a very good evening with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Vasas lost that game 88-96 to the higher-ranked Szolnok (#5, 15-8). Vasas is still in a red zone at 13th spot in the standings. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Vasas managed to get this year. Taylor is a newcomer at Vasas, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-F-90, agency: 011 Sports) of KTE-Duna (#10). Ivosev scored 26 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of KTE-Duna, leading his team to a 90-84 win against slightly higher-ranked Sopron KC (#9, 11-13). The chances of KTE-Duna ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 13 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ivosev could help KTE-Duna to bring them higher in the standings. Ivosev has a great season in Hungary. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.4rpg (8th best). Tomislav Ivosev has also Hungarian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Brian Williams (196-G/F-92) of Jaszberenyi - 32 points and 6 rebounds
5. Ismet Sejfic (208-C-93) of PVSK Pannon - 23 points and 14 rebounds
6. Ryan Watkins (206-C/F-91) of Atomeromu - 23 points and 12 rebounds
7. Roland Hendlein (206-F/C-86) of Kaposvari - 12 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Sam Thompson (201-F-92) of Vasas - 20 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Winsome Frazier (193-F/G-82) of Kaposvari - 28 points and 7 rebounds
10. Terry Allen (203-F-93) of Kormend - 26 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
