There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in A Division. There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most important game in the last round took place in Budapest between third ranked Falco KC (16-9) and fourteenth ranked MAFC (4-20) on Sunday night. Falco KC was defeated by MAFC in a tough game on the road 67-75. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 24-14. But Falco KC won second period 21-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MAFC made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Falco KC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Deville Smith (183-91, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Two Points) who scored 30 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Indian-Canadian forward Robbie Sihota (201-87) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. MAFC moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Vasas. Falco KC at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. MAFC is looking forward to face higher ranked Kaposvari (#6) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Falco KC will have a break next round.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kormend. First ranked Alba faced second-best Kormend. Guests from Szekesfehervar (20-4) defeated host Kormend (16-8) 81-76. It was a good game for American point guard Brandon Taylor (178-94, college: Utah) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 assists. Winston Shepard contributed with 9 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American-Guinea-Bissau point guard Perry Petty (185-88, college: UTRGV) replied with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals for Kormend. Alba maintains first position with 20-4 record. Kormend at the other side keeps the second place with eight games lost. They share the position with Szolnok. Alba will play against PVSK Pannon (#7) in Pecs in the next round where they are favorite. Kormend will play on the road against Vasas (#14) in Budapest and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Szolnok was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Kaposvari (15-9) played at the court of fifth ranked Szolnok (16-8). Szolnok defeated Kaposvari 80-65 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kaposvari. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Szolnok have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Kormend. Loser Kaposvari dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with ZTE KK. Szolnok will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kaposvari will play against MAFC (#13) and hope to secure a win.
A very interesting game took place in Sopron. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 9th ranked Sopron KC (11-14) to sixth ranked ZTE KK (15-9) 77-74 on Sunday evening. The winners were led by Emanuel Ubilla who scored that evening 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. ZTE KK moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Kaposvari. Sopron KC at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. ZTE KK's next round opponent will be Jaszberenyi (#12) at home and are hoping to win another game.
We should mention about the upset which took place in Pecs, where higher ranked PVSK Pannon (13-11) lost at home to eleventh ranked Atomeromu (9-15) 87-91 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Talor Battle who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Atomeromu maintains eleventh position with 9-15 record. Loser PVSK Pannon keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost. Atomeromu will face higher ranked KTE-Duna (#9) in Kecskemet in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.

In the last two games of round 24 Vasas was crushed by Szedeak in Szeged 92-70. Jaszberenyi were beaten by KTE-Duna at home 73-88.
The best stats of 24th round was 20 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals by Nenad Sulovic of Szedeak.

Szedeak - Vasas 92-70

There was no surprise in Szeged where 13th ranked Vasas (4-20) were crushed by eighth ranked Szedeak (12-12) 92-70 on Sunday. Szedeak made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (198-80) chipped in 24 points and 8 rebounds. Five Szedeak players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Sam Thompson (201-92, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded 18 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) added 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Szedeak maintains eighth position with 12-12 record. Vasas lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom. Szedeak will have a break next round. Vasas will play at home against Kormend (#3) and hope to win that game.

A very interesting game took place in Sopron. It ended with only three-point home defeat of 9th ranked Sopron KC (11-14) to sixth ranked ZTE KK (15-9) 77-74 on Sunday evening. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked KTE-Duna (11-13) defeated on the road 12th ranked Jaszberenyi (7-17) 88-73 on Sunday. The game without a history. KTE-Duna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. KTE-Duna looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Serbian forward Tomislav Ivosev (204-90, agency: 011 Sports) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Montenegrin point guard Milutin Djukanovic (190-91) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four KTE-Duna players scored in double figures.
