The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked PVSK Pannon (18-13) in Kecskemet on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked KTE-Duna (16-15) 88-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of PVSK Pannon. KTE-Duna looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by PVSK Pannon helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian center Kemal Karahodzic (210-89) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Mate Pongo (185-93) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Bosnian center Ismet Sejfic (208-93, agency: XL Basketball Agency) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. KTE-Duna have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 16-15 record having five points less than leader PVSK Pannon, which they share with Szedeak. PVSK Pannon at the other side still keeps top place with 13 games lost. KTE-Duna is looking forward to face Szedeak (#4) in Szeged in the next round. PVSK Pannon will have a break next round.

ZTE KK's coach Tamas Bencze felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ZTE KK moved-up to third place, which they share with Falco KC. Kormend at the other side keeps the second position with ten games lost. Defending champion Szolnok dropped to the fifth place with 12 games lost. Falco KC will meet league's leader Alba in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Szolnok will play against ZTE KK (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 6 Sopron KC lost to Szedeak on the opponent's court 74-78.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 16 points and 14 rebounds by Adomas Drungilas of ZTE KK.

ZTE KK - Kormend 102-81

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kormend (21-10) against fourth ranked ZTE KK (20-11) on Thursday night. Visiting Kormend was crushed by ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg 102-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kormend. The game was mostly controlled by ZTE KK. Kormend was better in second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. ZTE KK outrebounded Kormend 48-25 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Falco KC looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. The other American import point guard Lester Medford (178-93, college: Baylor, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 20 points. Falco KC's coach Srecko Sekulovic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) who recorded 16 points and 4 assists and Croatian center Luksa Andric (208-85, agency: BeoBasket) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Szolnok players scored in double figures. Falco KC maintains third position with 20-11 record having just one point less than leader PVSK Pannon, which they share with ZTE KK. Sopron KC trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 19-11 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 74-78 at the end of the game. Szedeak made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Sopron KC turnovers. Falco KC Szombathely announced the extension of their current team captain and home grown player, Benedek Varadi(195-G-95). The 195 cm (6'5") player spent his whole career with Falco. He moved up to the senior team and made his debut in the top league of Hungary at the age of 17. The now 22 year old Hungarian guard is one of the key performers in the import loaded team.
