  Hapoel Holon quialified to the first division !
After a really long (much longer than expected) series against Hapoel Bee'r-Sheva in the finals, Hapoel Holon was able to take advantage of their home-court and win in the fifth game in the best-out-of-five series (87-81). in other words: in the second time in a row, Hapoel Holon earned the privilege to play in the first division next year. lets just hope that this time they are going to use this privilege.
Hapoel Holon maybe the winner, but many compliments should go in Bee'r-Shevas direction. after finishing in the 7th place at the end of the regular season, this team overcame two playoff series without the home-court advantage, and was very close to do the same at the finals against Hapoel Holon.
the MVP of the series (and maybe of the entire season) is the great Tony Washam (198-F/G-82, agency: Gross Zeev ISA, college: St.Vincent) , who was always there for Hapoel Holon, leading the scorers in almost every game. other players who was an integral part of Hapoel Holons acomplishment are Adi Pereg (186-G-79, agency: Arik Krayn Services) and Yaron Lahat (186-G-76, agency: Arik Krayn Services, college: Davidson).
