GRINDAVIK won Lengjan Cup - Dec 3, 2011

Grindavik is Lengjan Cup winner 2011
In a uptempo and lot of big run from both teams Grindavik came out with a 1 point lead.
Grindavik started game very well and led 16-8 in first quarter but when Keflavik went to zone defense they got 8-0 run to tight the game up.
This was the story of most of the game, grindavik got good run but then Keflavik came up with the same. Late in the game Keflavik got the lead up to 9 points but that was not enough and when you don't score in last two and a half minute you likely loose
Scorers fro Grindavik. J''Nathan Bullock 27 Giordan Watson 15Sigurdur Thorsteinsson 9. Olafur Olafsson 9. Thorleifur Olafsson 8. Omar Saevarsson 4 Bjorn Brynjolfsson 3.
For Keflavik. Steven Gerrard Dagustino 26. Charles Michael Parker 20. Magnus Gunnarsson 11. Jarryd Cole 7 Valur Valsson 5. Halldor Halldorson 5
