Grindavik repeated as the Express League champions. They held off Stjarnan in the decisive game of the title series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Stjarnan won fourth quarter 22-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Grindavik made 11 blocks. American forward Aaron Broussard (195-90, college: Seattle) stepped up and scored 25 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Sammy Zeglinski (182-88, college: Virginia) chipped in 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Marvin Valdimarsson (198-81) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Brian Mills (203-88, college: Mercer, agency: Pro One Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Stjarnan players scored in double figures.

Stjarnan took the control of the game from first minute, leading 25-21 after 1 period and 47-39 at halftime.

Domino's All-Stars clinched an impressive high-flying victory in the All-Star Game. Jay Threatt (180-G-89, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Delaware St.) stepped up with 24 points, 11 boards and 10 assists to lead the winners. He was named the games MVP.
Domino's All-Stars opened the game scoring freely. They accounted for 37 points in the opening quarter to take a 10-point lead. They maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. Domino's All-Stars arrived at halftime up by 11 points 69:58. They went for 37 points in the third term to boost the gap. Iceland conceded 42 points in the fourth frame and had to surrender at the end. Billy Baptist (196-F-87, college: Quincy) provided 22 points, while Michael Craion (195-F-89, college: ORU) had 19 points and Marcus Van (201-F/C-85, college: Cent.Michigan) finished with 16 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Kristofer Acox (195-G-93) answered with 20 points for the natives. Sigurdur Thorsteinsson (204-C-88) delivered 17 points in the loss.
