All-Star games in Iceland were played last weekend. National teams of Iceland played against All-Star teams which were mix of foreigners and icelandic players. In both games All-Star team had the win in good games. Mens game ended 115-113 but womens ended 103-94.

Dorissau also won the dunkcontest and former national player Gudjon Skulason (181-G-67) won the 3pt contest after finals with Magnus Gunnarsson (184-G-81). In women game La Kiste Barkus (175-G-84, college: Louisiana Tech) was MVP. She had 32 pts, 5 reb, 4 assists and 4 steals. Palina Gunnlaugsdottir (170-G-87) won the 3pt contest.
Few players are out for some time because of injury's.
Cedric Isom (188-G-84, college: E.Texas Baptist) Thor broke his hand in the game against KR last thursday and will be out for 3-4 weeks.
Darrell Flake (193-F-80, college: McKendree) Tindastoll had little surgery on his knee week ago and will be out for 3 more weeks.
Robert Hodgson (199-F-74, college: Rutgers) player/coach at Valur div 1 team broke his hand 2 weeks ago and will be out for 2 more weeks. [read more]
