24-year old forward J'Nathan Bullock (196-F-87, agency: Pro One Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Grindavik and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.

He had a double-double of 51 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out IR (#7, 6-8) 90-89. It allowed Grindavik to consolidate first place in the Icelandic league. Grindavik has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 13-1. In the team's last game Bullock had a remarkable 67.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Grindavik's top player in his first season with the team. Cleveland State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bullock is in league's top in points (7th best: 22.8ppg), rebounds (8th best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 50.6% FGP.
Second best performed player last round was Nathan Walkup (200-F-88) of Fjolnir. He is American forward in his first season at Fjolnir. In the last game Walkup recorded impressive double-double of 35 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he lead Fjolnir to another comfortable win 106-87 over Tindastoll (6-8) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Fjolnir to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-8 record. Walkup is a newcomer at Fjolnir and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.2ppg (#1). He also registered 10.6 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Renato Lindmets (198-F-84) of league's second-best Stjarnan. Lindmets scored 25 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Stjarnan, leading his team to a 81-74 win against the lower-ranked Haukar (#11, 2-12). Stjarnan needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 4 lost games. Lindmets has a very solid season. In 4 games in Iceland he scored 17.3ppg.

The game between third ranked Breidablik (7-6) and fourth ranked Hamar (7-5) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Breidablik was crushed by Hamar in Hamar 77-57. The game was mostly controlled by Hamar. Breidablik managed to win fourth quarter 18-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamar moved-up to third place. Breidablik lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Hamar are looking forward to face FSU (#8) in Selfoss in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Breidablik will play against IG (#9) and is hoping to win this game. The game in Egilsstadir was also quite interesting. 5th ranked IA (6-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Hottur (6-6). Hottur defeated IA 75-65 on Thursday. Hottur moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated IA. Hottur will meet bottom-ranked Armann (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. IA will play against the league's second-placed Skallagrimur (#2) in Borgarnes and hope to secure a win.
In the last two games of round 13 Thor AK defeated IG in Akureyri 99-81. Skallagrimur beat FSU at home 101-83.
There was no surprise when 9th ranked IG (4-9) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Thor AK (5-7) 99-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Thor AK. IG managed to win third quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Thor AK have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 5-7 record. IG lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with FSU. Thor AK will meet at home league's leader KFI in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. IG will play against Breidablik (#4) in Kopavogur and hope to secure a win.

No shocking result in a game in Borgarnes where second ranked Skallagrimur (9-3) defeated 8th ranked FSU (4-9) 101-83 on Friday. The game without a history. Skallagrimur led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Skallagrimur have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 9-3 record having six points less than leader KFI. Loser FSU keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with IG. Skallagrimur will meet IA (#5) in the next round. FSU will play against Hamar and hope to secure a win.
