Head coach of national team of Iceland and Keflavik BC Sigurdur Ingimundarson has reached an agreement with Solna Vikings to take over the position of head coach in the team. Sigurdur Ingimundarson spent the whole head coach career in Icelandic powerhouse Keflavik. He led the team to three Icelandic League triumphs. Sigurdur Ingimundarson spent the whole head coach career in Icelandic powerhouse Keflavik. He led the team to three Icelandic League triumphs. Sigurdur Ingimundarson also won the Icelandic Cup once with Keflavik. Ingimundarson will replace Pekka Salminen at the helm. Keflavik has only once in last 13 years had to find a coach and that was for one year during the season 2003-2004 when Ingimundarson took a year off. That year Falur Hardarson and Gudjon Skulason coached the team together and they are two of the names that have been linked with the head coach job of Keflavik for upcoming season.

Jakob Sigurdarson (192-G-82, college: Birmingham Souther) playmaker of icelandic national team and KR, newly crowned champions in Iceland has signed for Sundsvall in Sweden. Jakob had a very good season home in Iceland this year and has now signed for the swedish champions.
Sigurdarson had a very solid career at Birmingham Southern in college with numbers of 15.3ppg, 3.4rpg, 2.4apg. He then signed for Bayer Leverkusen in German bundesliga and from there went to LEB2 in Spain where he had 8 [read more]
