The game between third ranked Breidablik (7-6) and fourth ranked Hamar (7-5) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Breidablik was crushed by Hamar in Hamar 77-57. The game was mostly controlled by Hamar. Breidablik managed to win fourth quarter 18-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamar moved-up to third place. Breidablik lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Hamar are looking forward to face FSU (#8) in Selfoss in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Breidablik will play against IG (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
The game in Egilsstadir was also quite interesting. 5th ranked IA (6-6) played at the court of sixth ranked Hottur (6-6). Hottur defeated IA 75-65 on Thursday. Hottur moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated IA. Hottur will meet bottom-ranked Armann (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. IA will play against the league's second-placed Skallagrimur (#2) in Borgarnes and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 13 Thor AK defeated IG in Akureyri 99-81. Skallagrimur beat FSU at home 101-83.

IG - Thor AK 81-99

There was no surprise when 9th ranked IG (4-9) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Thor AK (5-7) 99-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Thor AK. IG managed to win third quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Thor AK have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 5-7 record. IG lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with FSU. Thor AK will meet at home league's leader KFI in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. IG will play against Breidablik (#4) in Kopavogur and hope to secure a win.
