Keflavik was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 20-12 charge of Haukar, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Keflavik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Haukar made 10 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Tierney Jenkins (182-F-89, college: Alabama) (182-89, college: Alabama) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 22 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jence Rhoads (180-88, college: Vanderbilt) chipped in 29 points during the contest. Forward Jaleesa Butler (183-87, college: Georgetown) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocks and guard Eboni Mangum (173-87, college: TCU) scored 13 points and 8 assists.

The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Snaefell forced 20 Njardvik turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Kieraah Marlow (178-85) notched 28 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Jordan Murphree (183-87, college: Texas Tech, agency: Merit Sports) supported her with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Even 33 points (!!!) by guard Shanae Baker-Brice (168-87, college: Towson) did not help to save the game for Njardvik. Lele Hardy (178-88, college: Clemson, agency: Merit Sports) added 14 points, 20 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the guests. Four Njardvik players scored in double figures. Njardvik's coach Sverrir Sverrisson tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Snaefell (Dominos League) landed 24-year old American guard Aaryn Ellenberg (170-54kg-92, college: Oklahoma). She played most recently at Flying Foxes in Austria AWBL. In two Eurocup games she was the best scorer with impressive 20.5ppg and recorded 2.0rpg, 1.5apg (top 5) and 3.0spg (in top 2) last season. Ellenberg also played 10 games in Central Europe Women League where she averaged remarkable 20.2ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.4apg and 3.4spg. Dominos League Round 6: Keflavik beats Valur by three after a very close game - 1 day ago

There were just 6 rounds played in Regular Season of Dominos League and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Eighth-ranked Valur (1-5) was very close to win a game against first ranked Keflavik (5-1) on Wednesday.
