Haukar - Keflavik 73-68 (2-0)
Keflavik was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 20-12 charge of Haukar, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 19 Keflavik turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Haukar made 10 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Tierney Jenkins (182-F-89, college: Alabama) (182-89, college: Alabama) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 22 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jence Rhoads (180-88, college: Vanderbilt) chipped in 29 points during the contest.
