Iceland U16 finished second in Solna at the Nordic Championship Men U16. The team won 4 games and lost only one to Denmark that became the champion.

Denmark U16 finished the campaign with 5-0 record beating Iceland U16 88:69 in the last game. The winners of the tournament started with 31-16 lead and never looked behind after. Tage Dembele (201-F-97) and Jacob Glarbjerg Larsen posted 21 points each for the winners. Kari Jonsson top-scored in the game with 24 points for the opponents.
