Fjolnir Reykjavik (Dominos League) signed 23-year old American guard Porsha Porter (167-89). Porter just graduated from Mississippi State University (NCAA). In 29 games last season she had 13.0ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.2apg and 3.1spg. She was selected to SEC All-Defensive Team back at the college. Porter played in the final of NJCAA in 2010.
She played previously for Jefferson CC.
As mentioned above Porter just graduated from Mississippi State University and it will be her first season as a professional player.

23-year old American point guard Taylor Brown (170-93, college: George Mason) left Snaefell (Dominos League) from In 5 games in Iceland she was fourth best scorer with impressive 21.4ppg and had 4.8rpg, 2.6apg and 2.0spg this season. Brown just graduated from George Mason University and it is her first season as a pro. She received All-Atlantic 10 3rd Team award in 2014 and 2016 at her college time. Talented American Mia Loyd (180-F-94) had a very impressive game in the last round for Valur and that's her to receive a Player of the Week award for round 5. The 22-year old forward had the game-high 30 points adding eight rebounds and seven assists for Valur in her team's victory, helping them to outclass Grindavik (1-4) with 40-point margin 103-63. It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in Dominos League, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. The biggest surprise of round 5 was guest Keflavik's (4-1) road victory over Njardvik (#4) 71-65 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Njardvik.
