Powerade Cup is the main Cup in Iceland (National Cup) It starts with 32 teams usually. here are some results from first round.
Stjarnar 84 Skallagrimur 78. Thwo top league teams met here in a close game from beginning, game could go either way but Stjarnar stronger in last minutes
Top scorers for Stjarnan. Marvin Valdimarsson 18. Brian Mills 17. Jovan Zdravevski 16. Justin Shouse 15. For Skallagrimur. Caerlod Medlock 28. Haminn Quantance 28.

KR-B which are old KR players mostly 75. Breidablik Div 1 team 73. Big win for the old guys that did hire Danero Thomas to play that game. Thomas had been released from KR senior team weeks ago. He sent some message that he can play with 28 points. Halldor Ulriksson 21 also for KR -B. Hugi Holm 17 year old kid made tyhe winning basket ona buzzer lay-up.
Keflavik B 64 Njardvik 130. Keflavik B are former players. Looks like they did not have ebergy to play full game. Elentinus Margeirsson led Keflavik B with 15.
Hjortur Einarsson 22 for the winner.

IR 103 Njardvik B 66. Easy win for IR against the old Njardvik players. Erik Palm 20 Isacc Miles 17 for IR.
Tindastoll 67 Snaefell 82. Tindastoll still struggling even the won Lengjan Cup week ago. Throstur Johannsson 26. George Valentine 21 for Tindastoll.

KR 71 Keflavik 77. KR loosing streak goes on but Keflavik has been winning lately.

American Forward Amin Stevens (203-F-90) had a great game in the last round for Keflavik, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14. The 26-year old player had a double-double of 33 points and 19 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Snaefell (#12, 0-14) with 22-point margin 97-75. American Tyrone Garland (185-G-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Breiablik and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com D1 Player of the Week award for round 17. The 24-year old guard had the game-high 41 points adding three rebounds and two assists for Breidablik in his team's victory, helping them to crush IA (#8, 4-11) with 20-point margin 111-91. D1 Round 17: Armann still unable to win any game - 1 day ago
Bottom-ranked Armann (0-16) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 98-81 loss to sixth ranked Vestri (6-8) in on Friday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Vestri. Armann managed to win third quarter 25-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
