American Lele Hardy (182-SF-88, agency: Merit Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Njardvik, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 36 points and 21 rebounds, while her team Njardvik maintains the 7th position in Icelandic Express L.. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 10 games and recorded just three victories. It's Hardy's second year at Njardvik and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Former Clemson University star has very solid stats this year. Hardy. Hardy is in league's top in points (2nd best: 29.0ppg), assists (7th best: 4.0apg) and averages impressive 5.1spg.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old American Crystal Smith (168-G-84) of Grindavik. Smith had a very good evening with 32 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course she lead Grindavik to another comfortable win 81-63 over slightly lower-ranked Fjolnir (#8, 2-11) being unquestionably team leader. Grindavik's 6th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-9 record. Smith is a newcomer at Grindavik, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.9ppg (#3). Her other stats are also decent: 7.2rpg and 5.1apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Patechia Hartman (170-G-83, agency: Gamble Sports Management) of KR (#3). Hartman showcased her all-around game by recording 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the last round. She was a key player of KR, leading her team to a 83-67 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Haukar (#5, 5-8). KR needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 4 lost games. Hartman has a great season in Iceland. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.6apg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Sigrun Amundadottir (181-C/F-88) of KR - 23 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Hildur Kjartansdottir (183-G-94) of Snaefell - 28 points and 6 rebounds
6. Heidrun Harpa Rikhardsdottir (173-F-92) of Fjolnir - 17 points and 10 rebounds
7. Alberta Auguste (180-F-85) of Valur - 16 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Britney Jones (172-G-87) of Fjolnir - 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Siarre Evans (178-G/F-88) of Haukar - 19 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Jessica Jenkins (172-G-90) of Keflavik - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
